We can't remember where this one came from, although it may have been the color Superman comic strip in the 1940's. Once again, we see the spoiled heiress type get the comeuppance her haughty arrogance (we may infer) has earned:

"You can't do this to m-me...!" (translation: "Because I am too good-looking, too rich, and have too many family connections to be held accountable for my bad behavior like an ordinary girl.")

"But I am doing it - and do I love it!" (translation: "Just keep telling yourself that, honey, and maybe you'll convince yourself, at least when you're not sitting down. But the fact is that I'm a man, and real men spank their women when they need it!"

You can bet that she'll have more respect for him after this, and consequently their relationship will be better and happier because he took the time and trouble to spank her.

10/21/2007 Update: This panel is confirmed to have come from the Superman Sunday color newspaper strip. The date was December 21, and the year was either 1941 or 1948.
