...And this episode's cliffhanger...

No one has said anything about the name of the spy organization that hired Katie... (Security Protection Agency of North Kansas) and here I thought I had come up with such a clever acronym!


Please don't sweat it, b00m. Most of your readers can read "between the lines" and probably figured out that S.P.A.N.K. stands for, um, Spank! It's a clever acronym.

Your story is coming along just fine, but I'm still dismayed that all of Katie's spankings here come in brief, one-panel bursts. Did you see the toon that Web-ed posted for us this week, showing Robin the Boy Wonder spanking Batgirl? In that one, the spanking is shown in about EIGHT (8!) different panels! It goes without saying that our response to such an image would resound exponentially.

Over on Overbarrel's page, the current spanking takes place over several panels, also. Come to think of it, all of Phil's spankings consume several panels.

I'm hoping to see OTKatie receive some multiple-panel smacks, too. All from different angles.

hi Boom,

i love the way our disguised Katie is blushing and sweating as she is led off for her spanking . i gotta tell you i had some doubts about the "real" reason the men manning the monitors at SPANK headquarters weren't sending in a rescue team. then in the next panel my suspicions were confirmed . next time they'll remember to set up cameras from different angles . i love Katie's facial expression as the spanking continues too. good pics of her rubbing her bottom and i like the idea of her trying to type standing up too i have to tell you that it didn't come as a surprise that our girl couldn't stay out of trouble either..............hmmmmmm, seems like i have dated a couple of girls like that along the way . another great O. Yes. But to do that they'd have had to set up cameras inside the office instead of using her transmitting glasses to get a picture. At least Dave, the surveillance guy, with his headphones, can hear the sound of the enemy spy's hand slapping against Katie's backside and the cries of "OW!" that accompany his percussive concert.

And I'm a little surprised that it's taken me this long to think of it. She worked in an office for Mr. Kauf, and then for Mr. Fitz, but until now I've never shown her doing any kind of office work. I'm pretty sure a girl like Katie must be really good at typing standing up by now!

I had thought about that, but since she gets more than just one spanking in this story, I decided that I didn't really need to do multiple panels for each of them. There will be at least one spanking that covers more than a single panel.

As Dan said, b00m, I think everyone noticed your acronym, which I will admit is better than the one I came up with (S.P.A.N.C., for Supreme Presidio American National Counterintelligence). That prior discussion, by the way, could be another reason no one else has commented - since we were already kicking around some ideas for the name of the spy organization, when you came up with yours it could have been seen as a natural outgrowth of the discussion that didn't require further comment.

Now well into episode 4, things are proceeding apace. I loved seeing Katie standing up at her typewriter (I'm sure Tanner will like it too). Her rather blatant attempt to hack into the enemy files will now cost her another spanking, and I'm now wondering how long it will be until Katie can sit down again . But apart from being unable to sit down, she has another problem: how can she get the necessary information? I suppose she could approach some male agent with a bribe, offering "anything" for the information - then it turns out that what he wants is to give her yet another spanking! Or she could try to get it from a female agent through a woman-to-woman gabfest, but that doesn't seem nearly as funny (unless it gets both of them spanked).

So what will Katie do? I guess we'll find out in episode 5.

i love Katie's kicking legs in panel 2. must be a really good spanking . of course, the position of his hand as he turns her over is a good idea too . nice rubbing afterward and i like the evil glee on his face as he walks away . eavesdropping is another of a series of bad decision by our girl Katie i got a kick out of his talk that someone had replaced Delores, however, i don't think Katie's listening . i was actually happy to see Katie "unmasked" in panel 6. she looks much cuter standing there rubbing her bottom as Katie than as Delores . this seems to be a cliffhanger of a different type this time and i can't wait to see the next episode. thanks, phil

Good to see Katie with her red hair and bottom to match again. No matter how many times Katie heads for her usual position over somebody's knee, I always laugh as if it's the first time ! That's probably what makes O.T. Katie so durable. But we now also have a Perils of Pauline type of cliffhanger in which more than Katie's bottom is at risk? Will her rescuers get there in time? And given that she's totally flubbed her assignment of gathering evidence on the spy gang, how will they ever be stopped?

Thank you for saying that. It may not be all that practical in real-life, but it has always appealed to me when a pretty female cartoon character flutters her legs in reaction to the sting of a good spanking!

Hmmm... so far, everyone who has expressed an opinion likes Katie better as a redhead. If Katie continues her work as a spy, she may have to be disguised again, but you can be assured that underneath any wig she may put on, she'll always be the same spankable redhead!
Of course, now that she's been exposed for who she really is, there's no point in disguising her for the rest of this story!

Well, last week's episode ended with Katie falling throught a trapdoor into a vat of acid. What's next? Here's the title panel for this installment.What do I mean by the "Dan-O=Matic"? You'll find out soon!

...And now the story continues...Is there a real-life acid that does that? I'm not sure. Battery acid comes close. It's a minor irritant if you get it on your hands or arms, but it destroys clothing...

...And now Katie is bare! You may ask, "Why didn't the mechanical arm dissolve when it reached into the acid to grab Katie?" Uhhhh... I gues the arm was protected by a layer of organic grease, such as lard... or I could say, Aww! It's just a @#$% cartoon! No need to get that picky!

...And now?I think you can see now why I call this week's episode "The Dan-O-Matic". The machine that has Katie in its clutches is, of course, inspired by a machine that appeared in one of Dan's Spanky Sal stories. I copied three major features of his design: One was the anthropomorphic face. Everybody noticed that and liked it, and so I blatantly ripped off that part of his idea. The second thing... something I didn't pay much attention to until I decided to incorporate a spanking machine into my story... was the metal "lap" which is necessary for a young lady to pe put in an "OTK" position! And I also liked that his was a big, bulky wall-mounted unit. If you opened it up, you'd probably find that the electronic parts have tubes! I did a couple of things different, but I needed to give Dan credit for his inspiration.
