I went back and re-read the stories I've done since Katie and Bullmoose got engaged. It turns out that, since her engagement to Bullmoose, Katie has gotten 23 spankings from someone other than her fiance! (And those are just the ones I've shown!)

Dave, the surveillance guy at S.P.A.N.K. headquarters, Yank, the cop, Mr. Argyle, and Haigh, the leprechaun, are tied at three spankings apiece. Delores's henchman, Robbie Rednor, spanked her twice. Santa, Grant, Scottie MacHottie, the Cleanup Man, Agent Burns and Clorene's boyfriend, Steve, have each had one opportunity to spank Katie's lovely bottom. (Pretty soon, the tally is going to go a lot higher for the Cleanup Man! )

And although they were mostly off-screen, her fellow agents at S.P.A.N.K. all celebrated her birthday!

Bullmoose, of course, got to dish out a total of 14 spankings to the love of his life... (including one that consisted of 1480 swats! ) lucky guy! But you can see he hasn't had an exclusive on Katie's "disciplinary protocol"!

Yeah. I was wondering who would be the first to notice the date. Yes. February 2 is Groundhog Day, and 1993 is the year that the movie, Groundhog Day was released.

Do you have anything like Groundhog Day in Australia? It seems like you'd have to have it on a different date, since February is part of your summer.

No. February 2 is known in the Church as Candlemas, it was Lupercalia in ancient Rome and Inbolc in Celtic countries.

All of these had superstitions relating to whether the day was sunny or not and what that meant for the end of winter. Most of Australia is tropical or sub tropical so it would not apply. The only State of Australia with regular winter snowfalls away from mountainous areas is Tasmania, but I have not heard of anything like that in Tasmania.

Six days since the latest chapter was posted, and I'm just getting to it now. Oh well, it could be worse.

Everyone should be pleased with the direction chapter 3 has taken, for not only did it advance the plot (a little), Cleanup Man spanked Katie! It won't hurt to mention again what makes Katie work so well - everyone except Katie knows she's going to get spanked repeatedly, yet somehow it always comes as a surprise to her. Having the audience know something a character doesn't works very well in drama, whether serious or comedic, yet this simple fact eludes many a writer, especially the hacks in Hollywood.

It was certainly odd seeing Bullmoose just standing around instead of spanking Katie, but at least she got it from Cleanup Man on her bare bottom, resulting in a nice blushing effect. Now it's off to fix the time line, and the greatest fix-it tool known to man is the spanking, so it's safe to predict that one female at least is going to wind up OTK in our next episode.

I'm glad you liked this chapter. This time, Katie got a spanking that she didn't expect from the Cleanup Man... but she was also spared from a spanking that she did expect!

Yes. I think I can say... without being accused of a "spoiler", that at least one of my female characters is going to get spanked in the next chapter. And, of course, in order to have a "happy ending", the original timeline will have to be restored and Bullmoose will have to be turned back into the Bullmoose we all know and love.

Elaine emerges from Katie's time machine, to find Katie and the Cleanup man waiting for her.
