Plot-wise, this story didn't really need a chase scene, but sometimes, a good chase adds to the fun!

I think so... but then, it's my story. Let me know what you think. Am I building anticipation, or just boring the rest of you?

I admire your tenacity in creating such a long, drawn-out prelude to what I'm sure will be some monumental spankings. Probably for Clorene as well as Katie.
But I also think you're a tad sadistic, leaving all your faithful readers "hanging" while you go shopping.
Ah well. You certainly know how to build up suspense with your stories. That's a big plus for you, in addition to your hard work in drawing these panels.
