I've noticed that sometimes, when I'm reading someone's spanking story, I want to skip all the preliminaries and get on with the spanking itself, and other times I think there wasn't enough build-up. Your stories seem to be the perfect balance. (At least from my perspective)

Tina has been anticipating the moment when she's going to be turned over her husband's knee. She knows the sting of her daddy's paddle all too well. You've been showing us both her dread and her acceptance... She knows she's earned it... The fun of seeing her mother paddled MIGHT be worth the spanking she's about to receive for her little window-peeping adventure. AND the likelihood of some post-spank love-making has to be there in her mind somewhere!

Something else I like to see now and then, other than the spanking itself, is the rubbing and the reluctance to sit down afterwards. Is there any chance we're going to see the two ladies having a conversation on the next day? )But I'm getting ahead of myself! We haven't even seen Tina get her spanking yet! )

i really appreciate this comment. before i started this toon i had been focused on the least amount of preliminaries and the most amount of spanking action but i had been thinking that a lot of those preliminaries are really what get the emotions rolling and the juices flowing before the spanking. after all, a spanking is as much about the emotions as it is about the physical spanking. for example, things really get rolling for both spanker and spankee when he announces that he is going to spank her. i personally love all this preliminary action so i decided i would try to include more of that in this toon. the problem was in trying to strike a balance between them and the actual spanking. anyway, your comment brought a big grin to my face .

i think you've pretty well covered it all here..........a veritable flood of emotions and thoughts which makes it impossible for Tina to analyze it all and all she can do is react to what she's feeling. it's always a challenge for me, as a male spanker, to know just what the naughty girl is thinking but fortunately, in recent years, i've had some help from some spankees in these matters . i'm glad you enjoyed watching this flood .

well folks, it looks like Tina's attention has shifted again . i hope you enjoy the new pic. phil

I'm going to make a prediction here, Phil, that CSR's female readers (and we do have some, of course) are going to be absolutely captivated by this latest panel. You have perfectly captured the spankee's apprehension that moment before she must turn herself over the spanker's knee and submit to the spanking. And every girl into spanking both longs and dreads to hear the words Steven speaks here: "Now! Get over my lap, young lady!"

There's been a lot of build-up to this moment, as B00m noted, but I think it's worth it and I think the ladies especially enjoy it. And there is certainly precedent: although classic comic books and strips were told at a breakneck pace that didn't allow for a long build-up to a spanking, think of the great spanking scene in McClintock! we were all reminded of recently - the build up goes on a long time as John Wayne chases Maureen O'Hara all over town before catching her and applying an improvised paddle to her fanny!

Sorry I couldn't comment on last week's panel as I simply haven't been able to keep up with this board. But your efforts, along with B00m's and Dan's, help a lot especially when I don't have the time to produce much for the site myself.

So Sunflower and the other ladies of CSR: am I right? Did this panel really do it for you?

that's actually a pretty good prediction. i haven't had a lot of comments on this particular pic yet but i have noticed that some of my spankee viewers seem to be captivated by this entire scenario. there's just something about this power exchange that they find fascinating . there is one spankee who comments regularly who has been on pins and needles since last week, anticipating what was going to happen next and i can't wait to hear what she has to say . i appreciated your comment that i have captured her anticipation. i thought so too and it's nice to know you agree . i think you really nailed it when you said that they both long to hear those words and dread to hear them

as i told Boom, i was a bit hesitant to increase the amount of build up in my toons. i think it's a major part of a spanking and i find it just as exciting as the actual spanking. one of my spankee friends suggested that i just do what i like because others would like it too and i think she was right. she also commented that the ladies would enjoy it and even mentioned later just how powerful she thought some of the build up was for her and other spankees. it does seem that the spankers like this too and i think i will do more of it as we go forward.

i'm hoping for the same thing here at CSR, especially since i had one spankee, who replies to my email, already comment that she thought this one would strike a chord with the ladies. as a matter of fact, she told me she liked Tina's thoughts but went on to say that this pic really didn't need any dialog because it was obvious what Tina was thinking just from the pic . i do like hearing that since it says something about the pic . from web-ed's comments, it would see that we are all pretty much in agreement that the ladies will have a reaction to this one .

Wow Phil, I really love Tina's bottom in this shot. I think Steven may have overplayed his hand in saying that and Tina may figure out that Steven was there watching Vicky getting her spanking as well. In a way I think that retro thoughts are also a good storyline to be included as a thought balloon. I do also have to wonder about Tina's reaction to the bare bottom spanking as all of her spankings so far have been on the bare bottom (and I thought there were some other thoughts earlier that he was going to bare her bottom before taking her otk) and why would she think otherwise and Steven has spanked her with hand and hairbrush and now he is going to paddle his naughty wife with a promised punishment that she knew she was going to get and had already brought him the paddle so while I enjoy her surprise and her thoughts I am confused by them as well. I did expect him to bare her bottom and some spankers do find a thrill in baring the bottom themselves so when she had left them up I thought that was one part of their ritual and that was not the mystery that I had envisioned. i don't think so. Tina was much too busy watching her mom to notice Steven and right now her mind is occupied with "other" things so she's not thinking clearly about it .

Tina's reaction is not to having her bottom bared. as you noted, her other spankings have been on her bare bottom too so she is used to that. what she is surprised about is having Steven pull her panties down while she is still standing in front of him. before, Steven always turned her over first and then pulled her panties down. it you recall, Tina was startled by her dad doing this to her mom and even thought she would die of embarrassment. plus, she didn't know Steven knew about this so it all came as a very embarrassing surprise for her . i'm glad you're enjoying the story so far . thanks, phil
