Here's a story that follows shortly after the end of the previous one. It begins with Katie watching an episode of The Adventures of Dizzie Lizzie, starring her grandmother.

I don't know if any hairbrush manufacturer ever ran commercials extolling the merits of their product as a spanking implement... but maybe they should've!

"If she needs a spanking... she needs a LAROCQUE!" How's that for an advertising slogan?

That's it for now. Will Officer Yank make good use of the gift? How will Bullmoose react when he learns Katie gave away her Grandmother's hairbrush? We'll see!

Very clever, I really enjoyed this. A nice homage to the TV sitcoms of the 1950s. Katie was a bit daffy to give away that family heirloom and TV artifact. I doubt if her boyfriend will be very pleased about it.

Yeah. Bullmoose, with his work-callused hands can probably spank Katie just as hard with or without the hairbrush. When he uses it, I think it's mostly symbolic.

I'm glad you liked it. I introduced "Dizzie" Lizzie McGill in 2011, when I had an idea that wouldn't have worked in the present: a TV repairman. So I made up a story about Katie's grandmother who had starred in a '50s sit-com. (And, like her granddaughter, Lizzie got spanked for her many goof-ups)

Of course, my main inspiration for "Dizzie" Lizzie was Lucy Ricardo from the I Love Lucy series. I believe Lucille Ball got spanked on-screen four times by her real-life husband during the run of the show.

Yes! Karen is due for a session with the hairbrush... and I've got another story almost ready with Elaine, the pretty time-traveler. She's going to get herself into some trouble meddling in Katie's timeline!
