The next thing I'm planning to post is a continuation of the story I interrupted to do this one. Elaine is the star, but Kaylyn will be there too while Jack is shooting his screen tests for a biographical movie about Lizzie McGill. And... if she's there, she's likely to get spanked.

Are birthday spankings practiced in Australia? They're fairly prevalent in the U.S. Usually it's one swat per year and "one to grow on" (unless the spanker wants to add all kinds of extras to prolong the fun.)

I was thinking of having Jack celebrate Kaylyn's birthday with a spanking, but would a Sydney man do that?

Birthday spankings are not traditional in Australia. Some people do it, many more make jokes about it but it is rarely practised. It is certainly not done in classrooms.

I used to think birthday spankings were more or less universal... but lately I've been finding out that they were mostly done here in the U.S. And they seem to be mostly a mid-to-late 20th century thing.

When I was in elementary school, birthday spankings were given by classmates, and it was done for laughs.

When I was in high school, birthday spankings became a little more sexualized . The boys usually spanked girls that they were attracted to. If they were already dating, it would most likely be on the bare and lead to sex... but if not, it would be over her clothes, and we'd pretend it was for laughs... like it was in elementary school.

Spanking as foreplay is much more popular in Australia than birthday spankings.
