I play the dobro and the harmonica, but I'm self-taught and never learned to read sheet music. For this comic, I did a copy-and-paste of a music sheet I found on line somewhere. The song is "Scotland the Brave", a favorite among bagpipe listeners. However, I think it may have been transposed to the key of C for the piano, instead of A, which is the key bagpipes are tuned to. I didn't know how to re-transpose it back to A, so I used it as is.

The opening line of the Old Spice jingle is very similar to the opening line of "Scotland the Brave". Very observant.

The only instrument I know of that plays like bagpipes in the "Uillearn Pipes" of traditional Irish music. With this instrument the air bag is squeezed by the elbow.

I haven't heard the uilleann pipes played very much, but there is a very beautiful song played by Davy Spillane as part of the original Riverdance. It's called "Caoineadh Chú Chulainn".

I usually try not to get too serious, but yes, there is a difference between disciplinary spankings and domestic violence. And "recreational spanking" is another thing all together. Even with a fictitious character in a comic strip, I differentiate between spankings and beatings. I like a red-hot butt that's just been spanked, but I don't like deep bruising, or broken skin.

Finbar Furey from the Irish folk band "The Fureys" plays the Uillearn pipes as well as many other instruments.

Thanks for telling me about that name. I looked him up on YouTube, and heard some of his music. Great!

Before the April Fools' story, I had one with Dupli-Kate painting some graffiti on a wall. Of course her intention had been to incriminate Katie, but instead, she got caught in the act.

Officer Yank still doesn't know Dupli-Kate exists... so he thought she was Katie.

And now, it's time for the real Katie to get involved.

With a bit of luck, the other 5 clones will turn up and drive Yank out of his tiny mind.

So far, I haven't done a story about the rest of the Katie clones. (Other than their origin story.) Those girls have a lot of potential for mischief... And a potential for getting their cute bottoms spanked!

If I do that, Dupli-Katie One could organize the others, attempt some crazy scheme, and get them all spanked. Hmmmmm! I don't know yet what "naughty" thing they'd do... and I don't know whether they would get spanked in sequence or all at once. If it's all at once, most of my male cast would be able to get involved! That might be fun... for the men at least!

Yeah, it does. I've got some other stuff in progress, and I haven't figured out a plot that Dupli-Kate One would get the other clones to participate in... but at some point, I think I should do a story like that.

It would be fun to see all six Katie clones getting spanked together... and maybe Katie too!
