#52 - I didn't look back to check the exact dates, but at one per week, we've had a whole year's worth of story here, Phil - congratulations! [Later edit: I couldn't resist looking back, and I see Phil began this series last March 11, so it's been 10 months, which still may be some kind of record.]

Every bad girl spanking is a journey from defiance to compliance, and it looks like Anna has finally arrived at the "compliance" stage. Of course, her bottom is a lot more tender than it was in the beginning, but that's a small price for the spankee to pay (say we spankers ) to reach journey's end. Anna's expression is very good here - really it's the high point of this panel - she does look like a contrite little girl who sincerely regrets her bad behavior.

Anna is describing something that happened a while ago so things seem to have turned out well for Al.

That's a great mini-story, with Anna getting her spanking. Will we see similar "flashbacks" for the other girls in the coven?

I think that early in the toon, I may have posted more than one toon per week to get things going which is why it's hasn't been a year yet even though we have 52 pics posted. I guess I hadn't thought about how long it's been but I guess since no one has complained, no one is tired of it yet .

Journey's end............well said . I liked your comment about her expression . I did think this is the way she might look after the spanking she just got . Anna may not know why, but I'd say it was a case of emotional release, which is something many spankees seek, consciously or sub-consciously. That is the reason so many want to experience real tears, although it's often more difficult for them to reach this point than they expect. I believe this is due to the adult woman's greater emotional strength relative to the girl she was at the time of the Transformative Event (TE - if it occurred): the girl might have cried easily when spanked, but the woman requires a longer and possibly harder spanking to have her resistance completely overcome, but it will happen if the spanking is long enough and/or hard enough. And it certainly did here!

You are absolutely correct about spankees needing that emotional release. Just the acts of yelling, struggling, kicking, bucking etc will go a long way toward releasing those emotions but I think most spankees will admit that it's much more thorough and complete release if they cry. You are also correct that younger women will cry easier than the older ones will. I'm not sure if a longer harder spanking will guarantee they will cry though. I have heard several spankees complaining that they would like to cry during a spanking and get that added emotional release but it just never happens for them even when their bottoms are getting blistered. Others I have heard say that they never cry because of the pain of a spanking but only cry if they truly feel that they have hurt their man. Thanks, Phil

I do indeed agree with you that spankees have a strong desire to check out their freshly spanked bottoms in the mirror. As a matter of fact, a former client of yours expressed such a desire after a good spanking . As to exactly what causes this desire, I have a feeling we can only speculate. I have a hunch that most of your analysis has some basis in fact. As indicated by some of Anna's comments as she relates her story, I think the reason for the spankee's satisfaction and pride probably come from knowing that her man has the strength of will to take her in hand .
