I'm glad you noticed that little touch, Back in the early days of television, mentions of the sponsors were written into the script of the show. Sometimes they'd even integrate whole commercials!

Yeah. A lot of print ads, like the famous Chase and Sanborn coffee ad, featured wives getting spanked by their husbands for not buying the right product. That was so much fun to see! I would have loved to see a T.V. commercial with a spanking back in those days. The only old T.V. commercial I remember seeing that featured a spanking was the one for McLintock! There should have been more like that one!

This episode, it's Katie's turn to get a spanking!

After I wrote this bit of dialog and re-read it, I thought of a song: "Please, Mister, Please." Olivia Newton John was singing about a man about to play a jukebox. If Katie sang that song, it might have to be changed to, "Please, Mister, please! Please don't spank my behind!"

Katie back to her Dumb Dora routine peeping into a room with a warning that entering the room will lead to a spanking. Did it ever!

You're right. It was not the smartest decision for her to make. In her defense... she didn't actually enter the forbidden room... she just opened the door and peeked in. But in that security guard's mind, even peeking was enough justification for him to spank her!

Why have I not seen Katie auditioning for the her local production of Kiss me kate - I am sure I can think of one advertizing director who would be delighted to see her again

With the number of spankings, Katie gets without even trying why would she volunteer for one?

I did a story once that showed Katie going to an audition for the Girl Upstairs in The Seven Year Itch. I don't have that one anymore, but what happened was that the director told her the role was already filled. Then he said he had an opening for the following week's production of Kiss Me, Kate. She declined the role of Lilli Vanessi, saying she didn't want to get spanked every night and twice on matinee days. As WillJohn pointed out, Katie gets plenty of spankings without signing up for Kiss Me, Kate.

Like everyone else, I'm happy to see Katie going OTK again where she belongs! Having Kaylyn and Delores respond with glee rather than sympathy was a good touch that enhanced the comedy in this latest adventure. Seeing the pleasure on the security guard's face, it occurs to me that we might be able to cure the current labor shortage by offering male job-seekers the opportunity to spank deserving females on flimsy pretexts as a kind of perquisite!

Or instead of sign-on bonuses, which are expensive, why not have female hiring managers offer to take a spanking (or two ) from males who agree to go to work for them? Of course, Katie has a regular job, so I don't see a way of working these ideas into a Katie strip. (Unless, perhaps, Katie goes undercover into retail management and has to get spanked to fulfill her hiring quota and keep her cover story intact.) Still, it's fun to think about some of the possibilities...

I'm glad you liked that. Part of my inspiration for that came from Flickorna and McLintock! The leading lady gets spanked and everyone that witnesses the spanking laughs and cheers.

That's a good idea! I've got some other stories in the works already, but I'll have to think about Katie going undercover as a store manager or an office manager, allowing her "subordinates" to spank her.
