Can I Insert Images Without Uploading an Attachment?

Yes you can, but only if the image is at a known location on the web. Here is an example of the code, where I generated the tags using the "Img" button on the toolbar above:
[img]put%20image%20URL%20here[/img] where the actual URLto be placed between the tags was http://www.chicagospankingreview.org/ga ... igma15.jpg.
