Hi Fanz123 (fanz123 has been a long-time contributor of material to the main site, in case anyone doesn't know),
I'm not sure this is a reprint. The issue number and certain other details suggest to me the first comic was not distributed outside of Mexico (it was clearly printed there), whereas the second comic was distributed in Colombia and Venezuela as well as Mexico.
Now, I'm no expert in Spanish-language comics. I discovered them in Florida in 1972 where they were targeted at the Cuban-American population (I've still got a couple of them somewhere) but, not speaking Spanish, I never much sought them out with the exception of
Condorito, a title that we all know produced one spanking cover and a large number of issues of which I managed to have sent to me from Venezuela before socialism caused that country's complete collapse. (Note: Most of these issues are still sitting in my second computer, but I'll get back to them eventually.
Condorito turns out to be an unlikely source for more spankings for reasons I'll explain when my search is completed). Therefore, I don't know anything about the distribution of comics in Mexico and Latin America. Some Mexican comics have certainly made it to Chile, but you'd think the economies of scale would result in Spanish-language comics being distributed across all the Spanish-speaking nations and that doesn't appear to be the case.
Thus, it may be that different publishers put out different editions of
La Ley Del Revolver at different times. It may even be that the intellectual property rights were not respected, and somebody just copied and reprinted these comics without permission. That's happened even in the U.S. It does give us a second chance to snare one of these books, but again, give what B00m has provided us with I'm not sure that's necessary any more.
Oh, and I do have a couple of other Mexican comics with spankings we'll be seeing eventually.
