It's an imaginary product... If you want, you could imagine it being good by your standards. Just because I drink American coffee doesn't mean Tartan Blend has to be like that.

And the most important part is: there's enough difference between the good coffee and the bad coffee that serving the wrong one is "grounds" for a spanking!

But she sure did him a big favor. I think that the ad would increase interest in his store and bring in a whole lot of customers. (Not to mention, he had a lot of fun spanking her! )

I didn't have Katie and Mr. Ross haggling over what he was going to pay her for starring in his commercial. If she was smart about it, she'd ask for a percentage of his profit. But maybe they made a barter deal for some coffee. Bullmoose drinks a lot of it.

You know, we could apply advanced literary analysis here and call the "See our baker for hot buns" sign in panel 1 an example of "foreshadowing," but it's really not necessary. The main thing is that we all know Katie is going to wind up with some "hot buns" all right, courtesy of the baker or someone else (in this case it turned out to be Bob Ross). The enjoyable commercial sequence was deliberately similar to the one with Kaylyn and showed us exactly who she inherited her brattiness from.

The moral: bad coffee deserves to be answered with a good spanking!

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that the humiliation of the spanking was enhanced by having witnesses present. Maybe I should have a story about that baker sometime. Of course, the sign refers to bread-type buns... but with Katie involved, the other kind of buns are likely to become heated!

I don't always include witnesses, but in the context of making a coffee commercial, I thought it was appropriate.

I looked up some Wilkins commercials, and you're right: the Tartan Blend ladies don't get punched by boxing gloves coming out of a coffee machine. They don't get their heads slammed under car hoods. They don't get shot with cameras. They just get their pretty backsides spanked. And by now, they ought to be used to spankings!
