Dave Carney did a series of schoolgirl canings (we'll assume the girls are from the upper sixth and
are therefore eighteen years old) which we're going to present all on one page since they seem to be related.
We don't know if they were originally illustrations of a single story. In the first two, the canings have
apparently just been concluded - perhaps the one on the left was kneeling on the stool (not the best
positioning) while the one on the right is still in the classic bend over the back of the chair position.

Here we get the first look at the caner, apparently a female teacher. Two students each receive the
traditional six of the best! It's hard to be sure from her expression, but it looks like the one on the
left has already received her lot in the hands-on-knees position, while the one on the right displays a fine
set of six stripes. Good positioning of both girls with their heads up, although the one on the left
should have her hands at least three inches lower.

All three girls commiserate. We love how the one in the middle is still rubbing her bottom and
seems to be saying "Ooooooh!" Carney has a unique way of "rouging" the cheeks (the upper pair)
which in this case comes perilously close to resembling clown make-up, although we still like
her expression. One thing you've got to admit about the cane: it is effective!
