The figure drawing here is good enough but the high point has to be the bent-over positioning, which leaves
Betty's bottom raised high indeed! We either put the name "Sportelli" in as part of the file name or it came
that way from Doctor Cylon, so we assume that is the artist's moniker but we can't positively identify
him. George Sportelli is the most likely possibility,
although his style is usually more angular than what we see here. On the other hand, Sportelli does specialize
in celebrities and well-known characters from popular art, and that fits in with the choice of Betty Cooper
as the subject, plus he's done an occasional female-bending-over pose.
