Julius Zimmerman did a lot of drawings of Jessica Rabbit, apparently being quite captivated by
the character, and since he generally drew her with a bare bottom he gave Doctor Cylon a lot of
material to work with. Zimmerman entitled this work "Shy," although Jessica, bending over with
a wide stance, seems to be well on her way to overcoming any shyness .
The "exposure" here is rather obvious and more than we'd like to see, but we always hate to hold back Zimmerman's
work even when it inclines to the pornographic - a continuing problem
with this artist and we do sometimes refuse to post it - and so we we have gone ahead and presented it here.
Because her right hip is higher than her left, the resulting canted position is not ideal for paddling
although it's good enough, and with the Good Doctor's red bottom coloring it certainly looks like the
paddle was applied repeatedly!

(L.) Perhaps the oddest of Doc's versions is this one, in which the coloring has been completely redone and
Jessica's shoes restyled (date unknown). (R.) Light, delicate coloring and a word balloon along with blue shoes
set this version apart. It dates from 2010, and we suspect the two above do as well. Art by Julius Zimmerman;
embellishment by Doctor Cylon. © Walt Disney Pictures. Posted by the Web-Ed on 12/16/2022
