Just as with Tinker Bell Gets a Good Dusting, to understand the genesis of this Tinker Bell drawing by Julius Zimmerman we must return to the original animated feature film Peter Pan. In this scene (player at left), Tink gets herself stuck in the keyhole of Wendy's dresser drawer, much as in those "stuck in the window" scenes we've seen here in CSR from time to time. And like those scenes, poor Tink finds herself bending over and butt up. Fortunately for her, no one was around with a miniature paddle , but we cannot help observing that the Disney animators (who did an excellent job) seemed to find a lot of humor in Tink's positioning and predicament.

That funny scene was obviously the inspiration for this drawing by Julius Zimmerman. Of course, since Zimmerman preferred his women naked, Tinker Bell's top falls down (I suppose we could pretend it was because of her forward momentum) and her panties vanish mysteriously, leaving her well-positioned and with buttocks bare for the paddle!

Zimmerman was by no means averse to spanking, but since he did not provide one here the Good Doctor was forced to take over and add some delightful shading and flaming "heat indicators" to his excellent coloring job to depict the scene as post-spanking with rubber bands. Both men must have been happy with what they produced, for they came up with an extremely similar treatment of Tinker Bell that we'll see next time.
