We wanted to say more about Bud Root's cave girl Meriem, but this drawing looks to be drawn by
another artist which limits the discussion although we'll try anyway. What is the second thing we notice about Meriem
here?  Yes, it's that she's not buck naked for once, and although Root always
styled her a "cave girl," her appearance suggests a modern-day Jungle Girl rather than a neolithic female, so fans of
Jungle Girl spanking should like this character. Her attire explains "Why Meriem Has Tanlines," which was the title we
received with the image. She's not positioned for spanking, so perhaps the tanline explanation was Doctor Cylon's
interest here. We're not sure whether he did the coloring or not.
