Little is known about the personal life of Doctor Cylon, so let's see if we can at least understand his method and approach to art. Starting with an original black and white drawing of Julius Zimmerman (which we would have posted here if we could have located it), he first added the color (and possibly the effect lines as well). Zimmerman rarely depicts actual spankings as he did this time; his more usual focus is on muscular women with large bosoms, at least one of these preoccupations being rather obvious here. |

Not content to rest there, Doc Cylon then lettered the "WHACK!" and added the caption: "You evil, wicked child! You broke my yardstick!" Our advice to the unseen disciplinarian is "Next time, use a paddle!" Although we find the "poptop" a little distracting, the sight of the yardstick's impact is still very satisfying. |
