Variations on Dean Yeagle's Mandy

Dean Yeagle is one of the natural heirs to the great Humorama cartoonists of the past. In an era of cartoon vulgarity, he along with a few others such as Dave Wolfe have maintained the tradition of tasteful girlie cartooning. Yeagle was somewhat influenced by Bill Wenzel, although of course his work is in color and his girls are about thirty pounds lighter than Wenzel's.

Mandy is one of Yeagle's better-known creations - in fact, we're sure we've seen an altered version of a post-spanking cartoon with her, although we don't think Yeagle himself has done any spanking cartoons. Doctor Cylon has produced four variations on one of his Mandy cartoons which we see now.

11/02/2012 Update: Two more versions now - at left is a beautifully-recolored after-the-spanking version, while at right is a second animated version. We think Doctor Cylon must have liked the basic material that Yeagle provided a lot to have done six variations on it!

03/13/2020 Update: Eight years have passed(!), and apparently the Good Doctor had still more ideas regarding this work for he sent us nineteen more variations! These were apparently done across the range of years from 2010 to 2016, and display a great variety of concepts and techniques.

The first four almost look like something out of the 60s, but we don't think bad acid trips were what Doctor Cylon was trying to suggest; the first of them was described as "solarised".

The next pair stay close to the original drawing, with red blush added to Mandy's bottom in both (but with some subtle differences) and Mandy's eyes closed and mouth open in the second - two very skillful alterations.

Then we have one with the image reversed - Mandy is looking over her right shoulder instead of her left. She seems rather sad in the first - perhaps someone should explain that disciplinary spankings are given out of love - and in the second we even have a Jungle Girl version.

In the first two of the next four, Mandy's pleas fall on deaf ears as Doctor Cylon proceeds with her punishment. In the last two, he shows commendable restraint and mercy.

We didn't recognize the female spanker in the first of the two above, but Doc Cylon tells us in the second that she's the work of the well-known female spanking artist Barbara O'Toole. All together quite a tour de force from the Good Doctor!
