I'm glad you liked it. I introduced "Dizzie" Lizzie McGill in 2011, when I had an idea that wouldn't have worked in the present: a TV repairman. So I made up a story about Katie's grandmother who had starred in a '50s sit-com. (And, like her granddaughter, Lizzie got spanked for her many goof-ups)
Of course, my main inspiration for "Dizzie" Lizzie was Lucy Ricardo from the
I Love Lucy series. I believe Lucille Ball got spanked on-screen four times by her real-life husband during the run of the show.
