Yeah, another goose egg. It's not all that surprising, though, when you consider I'm mostly searching western comics with a few romance ones from the "Dead Zone" of 1956-65. At least the pile is shrinking.
O.K., on to the update: Doctor Cylon Month continues with a demonstration that "The Plumber's Curse" (pants falling down while working under the sink) is no curse at all when the plumber looks like Little Annie Fanny - with many variations on this Julius Zimmerman masterwork

! As I think I mentioned, getting started with all of Doc Cylon's new stuff ("new" meaning we haven't seen it before) is my priority now that the Comic Strip Series has ended. After that, I think getting back to Humorama and getting out the remainder of the Kevin Karstens/Bawdy Bard material is next in importance, so that will be my goal along with clearing out the mail (which is taking place, but slowly).
In that mailbox was some interesting new material, including Betty getting whacked with a tennis racquet much the way Veronica did (in fact it's Veronica who swings the racquet this time). I suppose that means we'll be having a Homecoming Week this year after Labor Day but it's hard to think that far ahead. It's hard to think about any CSR issues right now, although I'm still functioning on autopilot as I code new updates.
The truth is that the news from Phil Overbarrel about his declining health has come as a terrible shock to me - I mean a personal shock, not an editorial one, although the gap he's leaving at CSR with him being unable to create further spanking stories for us will be impossible to fill.
2019 was a year of great difficulty and tremendous loss for me personally and I was hoping to get 2020 off to a better start than this.However, we will soldier on even as we hope and pray for Phil. There are still some good things in the spanking world, and we're going to continue exploring them together. Doctor Cylon Month is, I feel, a very good start, and there's much more to come.
, but I think you can claim a little license when it comes to drawing the line on exactly where "exposure" become gratuitous, and perhaps live with it in the absence of aggravating factors (which Zimmerman did often introduce) - especially when Doctor Cylon has labored long and hard to provide multiple variations, as he did with "Plumbers Curse". I will review each and every Zimmerman drawing before posting, and I imagine a few more will get tossed into the "Unusable" file and not be seen on CSR. Others will, although I'll try to spread them out so no one has to give up on Doc's weekly contributions. The truth is that Zimmerman did certainly and repeatedly exceed the bounds of good taste, and yet at the same time he gave us so many bare-bottomed women either just bending over or actually being spanked that no site dealing with spanking art could afford to simply ignore him.
