All Katie's running and hiding reminds me of children's pantomimes in my childhood when someone was trying to avoid a pursuer and the kids in the audience would yell out "He's behind you!"

Yes, I've seen those kind of shows. In the U.S. on wrestling shows, there will be times when one wrestler cheats. He'll do it in plain sight of everyone... except the referee, of course, who's always conveniently looking away from the action. The audience will scream and yell, "He's got a [foreign object of some kind], and the referee will turn to look at an audience member, instead of the infraction.

If there was someone to shout at Bullmoose, "Hey, she's hiding in the bushes! Turn around and look behind you," she might not elude him so easily. But, in the long run, she's eventually going to get caught anyway!

Of course, there was a scene in McLintock! where Katherine took refuge in the saloon. G.W. walked right past the door, and Katherine thought she was in the clear. But then, Louise yelled out, "Mr. McLintock! In here!" The "end result" is the same: That Katy got a spanking and so will this Katie!

Maybe.

With current attitudes in Hollywood, I can't see a movie like McLintock! being made as a mainstream movie. As a spanking porn film, it would probably be a lot shorter.

In McLintock! Katherine had taken her outer dress off because molasses had spilled on it, and then her petticoat got caught in a door and was pulled off of her. leaving her in just her corset and pantaloons. Maybe a modern-day chase/strip scene would leave the leading lady naked. Unfortunately, I don't think a movie like that could get made.

From what I've seen, most spanking porn films are pretty low-budget for costumes and sets.
