I've been doing quite a bit of that already. In addition to the "regular" spankers in her life, (husband, boss, the local cop) she's recently been spanked by the grocer and his assistant, the flower delivery boy, the little boy next door, all of her male co-workers at the spy agency, and her daughter's boyfriend. In the future, I have some plans for her to get spanked by the auto mechanic.

We can't blame Officer Yank for spanking Katie because not only would each of us do the same thing in his place, Katie getting spanked on the thinnest of pretexts is a good part of the humor of the strip. That humor works as well as it does because it's character-driven (as opposed to situation-driven): Katie exercises terrible judgment, making one (spankable) mistake after another, and the men in the strip are happy to seize on any excuse (which Katie always provides) to give her a spanking. We can now add young Billy to the ranks of the "men" of the strip as I have no doubt he's going to grow up into a fine specimen of young manhood (probably becoming a CSR reader as well ).

I have long maintained that it would be better for young boys to spank grown women than to be spanked by them, and for anyone concerned about the effect that seeing Katie naked might have on Billy, B00m was very careful not to make him the sensitive type who might be adversely affected by the situation. (Compare to "piano boys" such as Johannes Brahms and Scott Joplin, who were most certainly affected by their early experiences playing piano in various brothels to entertain the waiting customers). Not only is young Billy, who looks very mature for his age, in no way harmed by this experience, his declaration "Yeah! C'ruptin' me!" is completely insincere and shows he's already joined the ranks of the other males in the strip who know how to use any flimsy excuse to turn Katie OTK. (It's very funny, too, along the lines of the "adding insult to injury" aspect of humor we've occasionally mentioned before).

I actually think Billy should be considered as a possible future spanker for Katie. Perhaps she might think, as she does here, that it won't be much of a spanking, only to find out he spanks a lot harder than she expected!

As to the window gag, it's certainly a good one. I have another cartoon in the files along that line, with a woman aboard ship getting her head stuck in a porthole, but it's clear the men on the scene have something other than spanking in mind so I'm not sure I'm going to post it anywhere. I thought I might have something else as well but can't find it now.

Considering all the points you've brought up, I might just have to make little Billy into one of the "regulars" along with Bullmoose, Yank and Argyle. If I do, I'll be faced with the decision of keeping him perpetually young. like Bart Simpson or Charlie Brown, or having him progress through his teens. At this age, a "normal" boy would a whole different person in a matter of months... even weeks!

Another option that wouldn't require constantly changing my template to adjust for his growth, would be to have his family move away for a while and have him come back a few years later. Whatever happens with little Billy... Katie will have other spankers to contend with!

The reason I put Billy into this story was to use the "window gag". Maybe... if I can come up with enough "trapped" situations, (Trying to crawl under a fence maybe? What else?) If I do that, and if Billy grows the way a young boy grows... He may eventually have a "rite of passage" story in which he discovers that he is big enough to turn Katie over his knee!

Sometimes in the real world too. I remember when I was a kid in the '50s and '60s, teachers did that. It only happened to me once, but it was fairly common.
