Well... I'd say very very naughty, but not completely evil. She didn't actually spray-paint the wall, but covered it with a vinyl wall-skin. But her intention was to frame Dupli-Kate, and it worked. She had a good laugh while Dupli-Kate got paddled with the scrub-brush.

But as soon as Bullmoose asked her about the rolled up wall-skin, she spilled the beans! She has no aptitude for deception.

You're right. Masking her face didn't do much to hide her identity... especially when the back of her costume was stretched so tightly across her backside!

I agree with your assessments here, B00m (of course as Katie's creator it's to be expected that you would have some insight into the nature of your own strip, although sometimes creators seem not to fully recognize what they have done - Alan Jay Lerner's play Brigadoon is an interesting example where until the play's director, Bobby Lewis, summarized it for him Lerner hadn't really understood it himself!). Two key points here are that (1) Katie framed Dupli-Kate but didn't actually vandalize any property, and (2) Katie wasn't able to lie about what she did to cover it up. (She's got no future in politics, that's for sure, although come to think of it Bullmoose could run for public office if there's a humorous story in there somewhere (and I'm not at all sure that there is)).

Anyway, if this analysis seems too dry, let me add that I enjoyed seeing Katie bent over for the bathbrush just as I expect to enjoy seeing her get the actual swats from it, plus an additional spanking from Bullmoose - that's a typical Katie comedic construction !

I can see how that would happen with a complex and nuanced story. However, I've made the premise of O.T. Katie pretty simple. Katie is basically a good person, but sometimes she does slightly naughty things and when she does, she gets spanked for it. And occasionally, she gets spanked for no good reason (except that the men in the story like to put their hands across her butt!).

(She's got no future in politics, that's for sure, although come to think of it Bullmoose could run for public office if there's a humorous story in there somewhere (and I'm not at all sure that there is)).

Bullmoose in politics? I never really thought about it... but there was a Bull Moose Party in the early years of the 20th Century. I don't know what his platform would be... and I'm not sure if he's devious enough for politics either.

I've got the next few panels drawn already. I'm planning to post them on Sunday, if all goes well. I don't think it's a spoiler to say that, yes, Katie is going to get paddled with that long-handled scrub-brush!
