It's sort of crazy... but D.C. has done crazier stuff. Last I heard, they've split up their divergent timelines into "Earth One, Earth Two, and Earth Prime".

Also, the T.V. series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer did that with Buffy's little sister. She wasn't there in the first few seasons, and then POP! There she was! And everybody acted as if she had always been there.

I still haven't sorted through which of my older stories still stand as I originally wrote them, and which ones no longer happened in the altered timeline. I definitely want to keep the one with her being a stuntwoman for a Scottie MacHottie movie.

I decided that I needed to use an altered timeline, because I had made Elaine a distant descendant of Katie, but Katie didn't have any direct offspring. How's that happen? Well now Katie has a grown daughter. And I don't have to deal with Katie's pregnancy or the time she spent raising an infant, etc.

Th Opposite of this was the Incredible Vanishing Chuck Cunningham in Happy Days.

In the early series, Richie had an older brother named Chuck who was played by two actors before vanishing in a puff of smoke. I sometimes wondered if there was an invisible episode where Fonzie killed him so he could have his bedroom over the garage.

In the early series, Richie had an older brother named Chuck who was played by two actors before vanishing in a puff of smoke. I sometimes wondered if there was an invisible episode where Fonzie killed him so he could have his bedroom over the garage.

I didn't watch that show during the first season, and I didn't know about Chuck Cunningham. But there were other shows that did similar stuff when an actor quit the show... or when that character no longer fit what the writers wanted to do with the show.

Gavan O'Herlihy was the original Chuck, he left the show because he felt he was not learning anything from it as an actor. Ron Howard respected him and later directed him in "Willow". There was a problem in that at 6'4" he was 7 inches taller than Ron Howard and 10 inches taller than Tom Bossley.
He was 70 when he died last year.

the few spankings she got by comparison to the number Katie gets is all Katie's fault. She would be better off copping it sweet and realizing that if she got as many spankings as she should get she would have trouble walking or sitting down.

I would love to see Katie back in college again possibly as a mature student but still wearing her plaid skirt as she did as an 18 year old
