Did Katie deserve to get spanked for Dupli-Kate's mischief? That is a moral conundrum on which we could expend much time and ratiocination. However, in a practical sense, since she's already been spanked the point is moot, and honestly we all probably enjoyed seeing her get taken OTK once again.

Apart from that, this was a well-constructed story in which Dupli-Kate's badly thought-out scheme backfired completely and resulted in her getting a nice red bottom - even if no one can see it but Bullmoose. Speaking of whom, he must be an old boy scout to be so completely prepared with his infrared night-vision goggles by his bedside . The old scout motto "be prepared" sure paid dividends this time!

I didn't go into detail on this in the story, but the goggles were a gift from Katie. Since she works for a spy agency, she has easy access to that kind of equipment. I don't think either of them anticipated an invisible intruder, but the goggles sure came in handy!

I live here and there are some things I don't understand either. We have the Second Amendment of the Constitution that guarantees the right to keep and bear arms. Most rational people accept that there have to be some exceptions to that right, such as criminals and the mentally incompetent. However, we seem to have some criminals and mentally incompetent people running parts of the government. They want to ban abortions of unborn children. Why? So that they can be denied healthcare after they're born? So that they can be exploited by pedophiles? So they can go to school and get shot?

It's a crazy country in many ways. I have to admit that.
