I've really gotten behind with Family Tradition, having just now seen panels 13-15, but perhaps it's easier to see the progress this way.

I'm absolutely convinced of Vicky's sincerity in panel 14. It is quite believable since this point is eventually reached in every thorough spanking . It's also believable because you have made her alarmed expression believable.

Everyone is agreed that Steve and Tina are both enjoying Vicky's predicament, but there is some difference of opinion ad to whether Vicky deserves her daughter's sympathy. I don't what it is, exactly, but something about Tina's attitude here leads me to think she's got another spanking coming to her from Steve before too long.

In panel 15, Ulysses refused to let Vickie up because she was uncooperative. Now, this can mean only one of two things: penalty swats, or those panties are coming down! Somehow, I think readers will be satisfied either way ! Vicky's expression is perfect here: it's changed from alarm to pure dread!

Yes, you can say the story's incomplete unless Ulysses is free to go ahead and deliver numerous "penalty" swats with the paddle. You also suggest that Vicky's panties be taken down despite the presence of a young man who has never seen his mum-in-law naked. Although I am thoroughly on the side of guys who like to spank pretty ladies, I remain skeptical about the various extra-curricular activities in the "spanking" scene.

At this point Victoria is a roundly defeated participant in this mini drama. Yes, she tends to get loud and argumentative, and yes those are negative qualities her husband can rightfully spank her for. But here, Ulysses has done more: He has purposely humiliated his wife, putting her over his knee in front of her son-in-law, then raised her skirt (per panel no. 006, she screams: "Squeal! Don't pull my dress up! Steve's here!") after which he has taken his paddle and walloped her bottom soundly. Vicky is in a deplorable state. I salute your skills as an artist for letting us feel some of her pain and embarrassment.

That's why I suggested earlier that right now would be a good place to end Vicky's punishment. She's a human being, after all, and if Ulysses is in any sense a gentleman, you would think he would let her up without further ado.

Remember, he can always continue the spanking later, after the kids have gone home.

thanks for your comment about Vicky's expression. i thought it went well with her frantic promises ............all of which is caused by that sting reaching a certain level while Ulysses is still spanking away and showing no signs of stopping .

boy! there certainly are a lot of folks who are suspicious that Tina is going to get another spanking soon..............as a matter of fact, practically everyone who has commented . could it be that everyone has just seen many of my toons and are really just suspicious of MY motives ? anyway, i have no more comments about all this at this time since i don't want to give the story away. i will say that i think folks may be surprised at how things go down .

i understand your concerns here, however, i don't see the consequences for Vicky's uncooperative behavior as being an extra-curricular activity. these are SOP when Ulysses gives a spanking and are both expected and accepted norms.....but more than that, i think Vicky fully understood when she chose to be uncooperative that these consequences are a promise made to her by Ulysses. trust between spouses is based on promises kept and i have to believe that Vicky would be disappointed..........even considering how much she hates the implementation of these consequences......... if Ulysses didn't follow through and keep his promise.

Remember, he can always continue the spanking later, after the kids have gone home.

I would almost agree with him... except... I have thought all along that Vicky's own words would come back and haunt her eventually. In panel 9, in Tina's recollection, she quoted her Mom as having said, "In THIS house, naughty girls get spanked on their BARE bottoms!" And, according to Tina, she said it in a "happy sing song voice". I think that, even if her most recent misbehavior doesn't merit a bare-bottomed spanking, it may just be the right time for the sins of her past to catch up to her!

i'm glad you're enjoying the toon . i have rarely found a spankee who wanted one of her spankings to be witnessed, however...............i have a hunch that actually having that happen might really kick the sexual aspect of a spanking up to the next level of intensity. perhaps that's one reason fantasies about public spankings are so common and my toons about public spankings are so popular . also, i find it interesting that some of our spankers at CSR are more sympathetic about Vicky's predicament than our resident spankee .

they were indeed penalty swats, given for being uncooperative during a spanking.............something Ulysses and Vicky had discussed long ago and Vicky was well aware of the "blazing behind" aspects of these .

I can only think, if we're close to winding this story up, that Vicky will be very contrite when she finally gets off Ulysses' lap.

it depends on what you mean by winding this story up. we are indeed close to winding this spanking up but no where near winding the story up as you will see during the coming weeks . as for Vicky's contrition, you know how spankees are about those bare bottom promises . thanks, phil

I guess you have decided against my suggestion that you conclude Victoria's suffering forthwith. It did seem like a good idea, since I assume you are prepping us for another spanking for Tina. But no, your panel no.16 shows that your plans for Vicky are ongoing... and omigosh, her excellent bottom is getting redder and redder! Again I am in awe of your artistry.

Maybe, if it seems right to you, we will see a double spanking: Ulysses and Vicky, plus Steve and Tina. I don't recall if you've ever done something like that. Of course, in your masterpiece, "One Good Turn," a mother and daughter are both spanked... but not both at the same time.

yeah, i would probably want to make comments out loud too, as does Tina. in her case, however, she is afraid to make them because she doesn't want her dad to think she's being disrespectful, or otherwise give him a reason to paddle her bottom too . in Steve's case, at least some of what he is thinking probably should not be said out loud

Vicky's spanking is pretty much at an end and i definitely have more plans for Vicky before the end of this toon . Vicky's bottom is pretty red at this point and i do have a tendency to exaggerate the coloring sometimes for effect but i'm glad you are enjoying the view .
