It was because of your suggestion that I included a surfer. He was a last-minute addition to a panel that was already finished, but I saw that I had room to pop him in there.

The surfer was a nice touch - hope he didn't wipe out like the guys in that silly movie Beach Party I posted back in 2019. And I liked how eager Katie's family was to see her get paddled ! They must have enjoyed her expression at the moment of impact as much as I did. Well, we knew the strip couldn't go on too long without Katie getting a spanking - and we wouldn't have it any other way!

Unfortunately, I've never heard of a "mother of the bride" spanking tradition in real life... Too bad!

As far as i know, the original St. Valentine was put to death for presiding over weddings that weren't sanctioned by the Roman government. I don't believe St.Valentine's Day really had much to do with St, Valentine. Newly-converted Roman Christians wanted a "Christian" holiday to replace Lupercalia.

Fortunately, Katie's "matyrdom" isn't fatal. She'll just sacrifice the ability to sit comfortably for a while!

Also... it seems, back in the days of the Roman Empire, Lupercalia was celebrated by the young men strapping the young ladies' backsides with thin leather strips. @#$%! Why didn't THAT Lupercalia tradition carry over into modern Valentine's Day celebrations?

Actually, Katie hasn't been a bossy mother of the bride, but for tradition's sake, she bent over to get paddled.

Mostly, the difference was to fit the writing on the two paddles. I suppose i should've made the "Mother of rhe Bride" longer to accommodate katie's wider bottom.

I've never seen a bride and her mother do a "booty pose" in real life... but for Kaylyn and Katie, it seemed appropriate.
