Hi, Web-ed. It's nice to see a previously unseen Humorama spanking done by an obscure artist!

The Humorama Series continues with Summertime Spanking.

I'm unfamiliar with Bill Cellers, but I like that cartoon. It's not quite up to the skill level of Wenzel or Decarlo, but the woman is pretty and her black lace panties are a nice touch too.

You point to the spilled lemonade as the reason for the lady to be spanked. It could also be that she dropped her glass when he grabbed her to pull her into position. Maybe, after being cooped up indoors during a cold winter and a rainy spring, they're finally able to go out into their back yard and enjoy a celebratory spanking!

Or maybe, they're just putting on a show for their nosy neighbors! Do you think the female neighbor looks a bit like the spanker? Maybe she's his sister.

Well, whatever the reason, the couple walking by on the sidewalk are getting to see "Mrs. Lacypants" get her scantly-clad bottom dealt with!

Doctor Cylon ushers in another Super-Spanking Summer at CSR with Supergirl and Batgirl spanked.

As I mentioned last week, since I can't handle two updates per week any more I decided we'd go with Super-Spanking Summer until Labor Day. I rather doubt I can manage a Homecoming Week this September of school-themed spankings (preferably Archie stuff) much as I like to do them, and we'll just have to see what I can manage. The vast quantity of material I've received from Doctor Cylon will probably make up close to 50% of what we see both now for SSS and in the fall.

I'd like to explain where we are with what had been my ongoing spanking searches.

1. The Humorama Search has basically been halted although it's still possible I might do a little along those lines.
2. The Golden Age comic search will continue at the rate of a few comics per week as they become available, and
3. the more difficult searches of catalogs, auctions, etc. will be reduced to a minimum. (As a matter of fact I discovered another Wonder Woman spanking this way recently and we'll see it as part of SSS, although it's another poor example from artist Harry Peters.)
4. I still get occasional photos from Richard Windsor and will still check Anime OTK and DeviantArt occasionally, although AOTK has not supplied us with much the past few years (their focus is diverging from ours) and DA is difficult to search, plus I'm just not up to it any more.

The immediate impact of reduced searching will be minimal since my files of new spankings and related material are so extensive. I have about 700 files under "Humorama" (mostly not spankings, alas - some are supporting documents and others are spankable models etc.) and an unbelievable 2200 from Doctor Cylon , for example, so we're not about to run out of material anytime soon even if few new spankings are discovered. And of course Resident Artist Hugob00m has been doing what he can to pick up the slack (I haven't had time to review his recent posts, but I see a list of the new attachments to this board every week when I back them up with File Transfer Protocol (FTP), so I know something is out there but not exactly what it is).

Doctor Cylon ushers in another Super-Spanking Summer at CSR with Supergirl and Batgirl spanked.

The only problem here is the position: it's not OTK, and despite a bevy of spanking implements hanging on the wall, it's not bending over, either. Perhaps the compositional problems with having two spankees bending over and still showing their faces were too great to overcome.

That, and I'm just not a fan of F/F. However, the spankees do have ripe red round rumps to show for their punishment. (How's that for some alliteration?)

Who is the spanker? She looks a little bit like Dolly Parton... but if that's who she is, why would she spank Batgirl and Supergirl?

And of course Resident Artist Hugob00m has been doing what he can to pick up the slack.

Hmmmm... You're probably right. The reason I thought of Dolly Parton was the big hair and the short skirt. She-Hulk makes more sense, but if that's who she is, the colorist got it wrong. She-Hulk is supposed to have dark hair and green skin.

I misread the title which referred to Smudge drawing a picture involving She Hulk previously. I suppose the tall may not be She Hulk but it is out of proportion for Dolly, who is only big in the tits. She is otherwise tiny. One of her best lines was in an interview many years where she was asked what she had in common with Burt Reynolds and cheekily replied "a 44 inch chest."

Super-Spanking Summer continues with spankings for Batgirl and Betty Rubble.

Got through another week, and that's about the best we can expect for now. I'm still not remotely caught up with the mail, although I did get to a lot of more things Doctor Cylon has sent me, and of course until I make some more progress there I can't get caught up to date on this board. B00m mentioned he's in the midst of a new OTK Katie adventure, so everyone should make haste in getting over to his gallery to take a look at it (I haven't had time to see it myself so I can't provide a direct link here).

There are a couple of other topics I've been meaning to discuss, namely (1) spanking parties and (2) how the importance of spanking seems to diminish with age, but they're somewhat depressing so I think I'll put them off for a while. Richard Windsor has had a few things to say about the latter topic on his blog if anyone is interested.

Next week we'll have a little more Batgirl spanking from Doctor Cylon, who has contributed quite a few new pieces with superheroines in post-spanking poses. I haven't been able to plan ahead any further than that but I'll try to keep the mini-series short so we have some variety (I've still got a ton of material with Harley Quinn but we did a lot with her last year). I also want us to have more M/F scenes but as always I'm limited by what independent artists want to produce, and they have a strange predilection for F/F scenes as I've noted many times in the past.

I can't explain the problem, Tanner. As far as I know, I've paid the bills for another year (for the domain name, chicagospankingreview.org plus the fee to the web host to maintain the site's files and data bases, etc.). Let's hope the issue was transitory. I have so little time these days that I usually only check on the site myself once per week, when I do the updates. But do let me know if the problem reoccurs.

Postscript: while doing this week's updates, I found a typo in the URL of two hyperlinks (I typed "comicsnpage" instead of "comicspage", and that's enough to foul it up). There are sometimes four of these; the preview picture at the top of the Home Page, the text on the Home Page (in this case "Super-Spanking Summer continues with Huntress spanks Batgirl"), the text here on the forum, and the thumbnail picture in the index page (Comics Gallery 1 in this case). And since I copy the text on the Home Page for the hyperlink from this board, the error was propagated. Sorry about that - I hope it didn't seem like I simply couldn't go on any more and had quit the site. Usually I do test these links after loading the update, but obviously I only tested the first in this case (the picture on the Home Page). Obviously I'm a long way from my old self, but I'm still in there trying.

I think this is a very nice scene, well-drawn and with good OTK positioning. The only drawbacks are (1) It's F/F instead of M/F, and (2) CSR readers have to plow through another of my patented confusing explanations , this time about exactly who the Huntress is. It's from Palcomix, whom we haven't seen in a while, but we'll see more of them shortly with a Teen Titans mini-series.

I appreciated your explanation, because I was unfamiliar with the Huntress.

Many aspects of String Theory confuse even the physicists, but the Multiple Universe/Alternate Timeline part of it has provided a lot of material for Sci-fi and comic book writers. It's a nice option for a writer to have. If that writer wants to do a story about a familiar character... but wait! This character can't be doing this now, because he did this other thing in a past story that would preclude what I want to happen now... ALTERNATE TIMELINE! I even used that trick in my O.T. Katie strips!

Super-Spanking Summer continues with the work that heralded Doctor Cylon's return: Batgirl's Buns

I think this is a good update, my main concern being with quantity rather than quality. I had planned to offer two updates per week and have enough superheroine material to do so, but we all know about the best laid schemes o'mice and men. For the moment this is the best I can do while I try to get caught up on the mail. If I can work far enough ahead - I have next week's update already coded - perhaps we can still manage a big finish to Super-Spanking Summer.

The other concern I have is the relative shortage of M/F spanking scenes involving superheroines. We're about to embark on a mini-series involving the Teen Titans and only one out of its three spankings is M/F. I also have a Wonder Woman/Wonder Girl semi-spanking from an actual 40s comic book - not very well done, I'm afraid - that I discovered recently, and obviously that's F/F also. We really need some balance here, and I will do my best to present some more M/F scenes beginning 7/31. I do have some, but as always I'm hampered by the inexplicable preference of most male artists for F/F spankings.

Next week: we begin the Teen Titans mini-series. I have a ton of stuff with Starfire and Raven so we could extend that mini-series through the end of the summer, but we'll delay it until next year because we've already seen so much F/F material.

That's the nice thing about an aftermath spanking pic like this one. Whoever just reddened Batgirl's bottom has walked away leaving us to speculate about his, or her, identity. I prefer to think it might've been either Batman or Robin.
