Katie and the Hacker

Connie Booth and John Cleese were divorced no long after the end of the series. I sometimes wonder if Fawlty's behaviour was a reflection of Cleese in real life.

O.K., now to get caught up with the rest of the story - I can't believe how long it's been since I was able to check in on Katie - probably before my last "vacation" in mid-September. I see first of all that we had a very nice Halloween special featuring Katie in a fetching witch's outfit, and we learned that if you spank a witch the pain "stars" do indeed take the form of pentagrams. Perhaps this method of witch-testing should replace dunking (and as an aside, since we've been discussing Monty Python on this thread, wasn't there a witch-dunking scene in Monty Python and the Holy Grail? Along with of course the greatest missed opportunity for a spanking in screen history, in which spanking was the official punishment for some offense involving the grail.)

Then we have Katie and the Hacker. It's easy to forget when you've been away for awhile just how funny Katie's misadventures are. I haven't the time for a detailed analysis, so I'll just review the panels and make some notes:

1. Sticking her tongue out at B00m - definitely a forgiveable offense, but only after the perpetrator has received a sound spanking !

2. Officer Yank was sure johnny-on-the-spot in the park, ready to spank Katie for indecent exposure. I suppose there also could have been a "No Swimming" sign next to the pond, but anyway, another good spanking for Katie!

3. Then Mr. Argyle appears - this was a great touch! Of course he can't have his employees behaving in such an indecent manner, and the way she was dressed Katie wasn't exactly "under cover" (not much cover!), so it's time for yet another spanking - yay!

4. "What hairbrush?" This immediately made me think of Jimmy Durante in the musical Jumbo: when caught by a police officer stealing an elephant and asked to explain himself, he says, "What elephant?" Didn't work too well for Katie, either.

5. Katie's scheme to protect her bottom from another spanking backfires as his hurt hand causes Bullmoose to use the hairbrush - exactly what Katie hoped to avoid. This was a very clever touch.

6. 1000 swats at maximum sting for Karen - 'nuff said!

7. I believe the arse does swell a little with spanking, but I've never stopped to measure - I just check for sufficient heat!

8. The paddle is beginning to overheat!

9. Karen's bare-bottom spanking at the hands of Mr. Argyle - well-deserved, and I'm losing count of how many spankings that was.

10. Getting sleepy, but there's one more point to address: I don't know why only two people had commented at one point in the story (obviously it would have been three if I could have been here, but that's not really the point. A lot of people are browsing these pages and presumably following Katie's adventures, so why don't they comment?

We've discussed this in the past, and I don't see any way to counteract the tendency of many viewers not to comment. I will try exhorting them once again. Another possibility is to provide direct links to CSR's Resident Artists from the new Art Gallery main page - if I can ever get around to building it. Perhaps I can say a little more on the Weekly Updates topic.

I understand. We all get too busy to do all the things we want to.

Yes. I would think there must be rules about employees of a spy agency attracting too much attention to themselves. How did Mr. Argyle happen to be there just at the moment Katie was running through the park in her undies? Maybe he saw her on a surveillance camera and rushed over there.

I never saw that movie, but I've always enjoyed the humor of Jimmy Durante. "What elephant?" I can imagine him doing that.

I'm not all that familiar with girdles, except that, when I was a kid, they were common and I saw a lot of pictures of women wearing them. Would a man actually hurt his hand spanking a woman in a girdle? I don't know for sure, but I would imagine that to be the case. Katie didn't wear hers for very long though!

6. 1000 swats at maximum sting for Karen - 'nuff said!

If anyone deserved it, Karen is the one! But then, she's not the only one who has fallen prey to the "Dan-o-matic". (And for some reason, no one ever uses a lower setting than 1000 swats at maximum sting!)

Swollen? Or just naturally big and round? We may never know!

The ladies seem to handle it better than the machine!

OK, Karen's bottom just isn't as spankable as Katie's but she still looks pretty good in those pants which I assume are leggings . In panel 7, Karen seems to have lost that smug expression Nice shots of Karen kicking while Bullmoose spanks her . and she's put on her pretend mad face as she demands that Bullmoose be arrested . Then she has another change of expression as she recognizes officer Yank . I like the way Yank is gloating in panel 12 as he tells Karen how much he's going to enjoy spanking her after all this time . I also noticed that Yank's hand appears to be squeezing Karen's bottom as he guides her over his lap. Your spankers always put their hand on the spankee's bottom when they are being turned over but this is the first time I've noticed that squeezing. Did I just miss that before or are you doing something different? I Like the view in panel 13. Of course, it's no surprise that Yank feels a spanking is best given on a naughty girl's bare bottom . I also like his joy at knowing he's going to have to bring Karen around to his way of thinking . I'll be looking forward to the rest of the story. Thanks, Phil

I'm glad you said that. My intention was to make Katie's bottom the most appealing in her world, but for someone like Karen to be at least somewhat interesting. And, yes, those are supposed to be leggings that she's wearing. Nice ans tight and stretched really thin across the butt.

I've seek some video clips where the spanker forbid spankee to kidk... but that's a big part of the fun for me. I love seeing a woman kick while she's being spanked! That's why I always draw Katie kicking when she gets spanked, and most of the other girls too.

Yeah. She's not as well-shaped as Katie... but there is enough curve back there to make it fun for Yank to give her the spank! ...And she deserves it more that Katie ever did!

I also noticed that Yank's hand appears to be squeezing Karen's bottom as he guides her over his lap. Your spankers always put their hand on the spankee's bottom when they are being turned over but this is the first time I've noticed that squeezing. Did I just miss that before or are you doing something different?

I didn't realize it at the time, but the shading I used this time does emphasize the squeeze more than usual. Thanks for pointing that out!

That's a good way to sum things up. Karen now has a man to love, that clearly won't take any crap from her and won't hesitate to turn her over his knee whenever she needs it. Katie has had a man like that for a while now... I guess she just needed a little reminder!
