O.K. I ended that story with the possibility of a Halloween spanking... and tomorrow is Halloween. So I've got a one-panel Halloween cartoon.

Hmmm... For this year's Halloween, I just have Bullmoose dressed as "Spankenstein". But maybe for next Halloween, I'll have the Wolfman (or the Wolfe-man ) and maybe Dracula... and some other monsters standing in line.

Wow! I had never heard that song! (And I thought I was a Buck Owens fan!) I looked it up just now, and it's a great song that should've gotten a lot more attention than it did.

Maybe next Halloween I can do a cartoon inspired by that song.

It's been a while.

In the early '60s, my Dad had a bunch of Buck Owens records in his collection, especially when he had Tom Brumley and Don Rich in the band.

This is primarily addressed to Willjohn, but it's not personal or private. Anyone can read it.

A couple of days I listened to some music by the Seekers. I remember that they had some hits in the U.S, in the '60s. I didn't know they were originally from Australia, or that they were regarded as local heroes when they got home.

The most noticed member of the group was the lead singer, Judith Durham. Her distinctive voice added so much to their vocal harmony.

However, I'm a long-time fan of the 12-string guitar, and the one who really grabbed my attention was Keith Potger. Such a beautiful instrument and he played it so well!

It was nice to hear "Another You" again after all these years.

I remember when The Seekers came out in the 1960s, they were originally folk singers. They would all be elderly now. Athol Guy was a member of the Victorian State Parliament for a while after they broke up.

I have not really followed them but I saw Bruce Woodley interviewed some years ago. He wrote some songs with Paul Simon, including "Red Rubber Ball" that was a hit for a band called Cyrkle. Another song he co-wrote with Simon was called "Cloudy." According to Bruce Simon paid him but did not want to share the song credits. Strange.

First, thanks for doing that extra Halloween cartoon which brought us the one story Hollywood forgot to film back in the age of horror movies: "The Spanking of the Bride of Frankenstein"! I don't know how they missed an opportunity like that. Come to think of it, it would have been nice to see Gene Wilder take the frisky Terri Garr over his knee in "Young Frankenstein" also.

Next, I was pleasantly surprised that you managed to wring out one more birthday spanking for Katie even after that fun day had passed. She was surprised, too, which is a frequent source of humor in her adventures since her inevitable OTK position is seen in advance by her readers, as is watching her efforts to avoid a spanking result in her getting another or a longer one. Here, trying to trick our alien friend (any alien who wants to spank Katie is definitely a friend of ours ) into resuming the count at "six" resulted in him starting over at "one" which was very funny.

I also really liked seeing Katie completely nude for her spanking - I can't say why . It's not like we haven't seen her bare bottom may times before.

You're welcome. If they had done a movie with the Bride of Frankenstein getting spanked, I think it would've had to star someone other than Elsa Lanchester.

Fay Wray and Evelyn Ankers come to mind. They were both very attractive and starred in horror films around that time.

I'd say a whole career of missed opportunities! Terri Garr never got a spanking even though she had such a cute derriere, and played quite a few spankable characters!

Yeah. One more birthday spanking, thanks to a time-warp! But now, I think I'll bid adieu to Katie's 45th birthday, and come up with some other reasons for her to get spanked. I'll think of something.

That's something I try to add a little variety to. My favorite is to have her wearing a skirt that can be raised to expose her lacy panties... but from time to time, I'll have her completely covered, or completely bare.

Yeah! I thought so. I'm glad you like it. However, I think I've prolonged Katie's 45th birthday enough now... ("TOO MUCH!" Katie might say) Next time Katie gets a spanking, it'll be for a totally different reason.

There's a good reason for that! If you remember, that space guy was a hybrid clone and some DNA from Bullmoose had to be used because there were no surviving males of the Xmidh race. The Bullmoose part of him appreciates Katie's feminine curves, and is glad whenever an opportunity presents itself to spank her.
