I think we can all agree that Mr Kauf should have been shocked by Katie's lack of underwear and sent her to the shops to regain her modesty.
Shocked? Nah. I think he's enjoying the view.
But what's going the happen if Bullmoose finds out she's been flashing Yank and Kauf... (And who knows who else has seen her?)
Maybe I should have saved this story for Christmas-time, considering that she's red-cheeked and Knicker-les!
Some licensed clubs and restaurants in Australia celebrate "Christmas in July" because July in Australia is the coldest month, more suitable for eating roast poultry and pork with baked potatoes, hot vegetables, and plum pudding. It is also the skiing season.

Just a thought.
That makes a lot of sense, especially when you consider that most "Christmas" customs have nothing to do with Christ or Christianity. Yule was a celebration of the Winter Solistace by pre-Christian Germans. On the other side of the equator the seasons are reversed, so why shouldn't the holidays be changed around?
The story I heard was that Constantine asked Christians when Jesus was born. The Christians, being more interested in when people died than when they were born, said they did not know. Constantine decreed that it would henceforth be December 25, to replace a pagan holiday. Constantine decided Christianity was cheaper for the Empire because people took days off work for several gods so it was economically more sensible to have only one god.

Having Katie climb up that ladder was a bit worthy of Benny Hill!
I hadn't been thinking about Benny Hill at the time, but I suppose there could be a subconscious influence. He certanly did a lot of ogling in his time. If Katie was a real person, she might have wound up on his show! Maybe climbing a ladder!

Predictable? Yes. Enjoyable? Probably to everyone but her!

I hope you won't get tired of Katie being turned O.T.K. in the near future. I've got more stories planned... and still more of my "Commando Katie" story ro post.
I think the conversion of Constantine to Christianity was one of the worst things to happen to Christianity AND the Roman Empire. Because he became a "Christian" (in name at least), and kept his position as Emperor, church leaders thought they should have a say in the government and government leaders thought they should have a say in the church. All of the horrendous tortures that had been used against Christians were suddenly being used BY "Christians". The Romans had been taught that kindness was a weakness, and Roman leaders who practiced Christian principles were thoght to be weak by their people. "Christians" who got a taste of power fought to maintain that power, using unspeakable cruelty against those they considered to be heretics and anyone else who might be a threat to their position.
