Your reference to "My Two Showoffs" reminded me that comedian Dick Van Dyke is still going at 98 years of age. I am pretty sure the rest of the adult cast of the Dick Van Dyke Show is now dead.

Rose Marie passed away in 2017, not long after Mary Tyler Moore, and Carl Reiner left us only three years ago. I think the others, like Richard Deacon, Morey Amsterdam, and Jerry Paris, passed away a long time ago, so only Van Dyke is left, and may he go on for a long while yet.

It was a great show, and even had one episode entitled "How to Spank a Star" although the star in question (played by Lola Albright) only gets spanked figuratively. Mary Tyler Moore's reaction when Rob tells her he spanked Paula Marshall suggests she both approves of the idea and is a little turned on by it (excellent performance as usual from Moore).

I must admit, B00m, that I am one of the (probably many) O. T. Katie fans who wished that Katie would get spanked for Christmas (again) - and of course Good Saint Nicholas knows what's on everyone's Christmas wish list . And you executed the annual event admirably, with Katie as usual compounding her problems with misbehavior that earns her an extra spanking.

The final chapter of this little story will star Katie's daughter, Kaylyn. What will become of her? I think WillJohn has already guessed the answer. There may not be any big surprises... but I hope her fans will enjoy it anyway.
