i wouldn't worry much about "falling behind" on your searches, as you put it. it's certainly understandable. i have every confidence that you're doing just fine on them . i read your post to the Humorama sub forum and found the information most interesting. the more you delve into it, the more history you uncover and i personally find it fascinating so thanks for that . i'll be looking forward to the continuation of the return of the Humorama series next year. i have to say this this week's updates are the most unique that i have seen since i've been a member here. since it's all in Japanese, i'm surprised that you were able to glean as much information about this strange cartoon as you did. i'd love to know what they were saying though . the machine that was giving out the punishments wasn't too bright in my estimation. first off, a smart machine would have realized that that naughty young lady should have been spanked every time instead of all those other strange punishments . secondly, after all the humiliations of having various parts of her clothing removed, they couldn't have pulled her pants down for the spanking?? anyway, i appreciate all the time you took to bring this to us and i'll be looking forward to the "new normal" starting next week . thanks, phil

Hi again, Web-ed... Wow, so this week you're taking CSR into a "cinematic" stage! I love the idea, and I enjoyed watching the clips from "Zenderman." You are correct when you say this is a Japanese creation, rather than some other Asian country.

Though I am from California, I lived for two and a half years in Japan. Gotta say, by the time I left there, I had pretty much "mastered" conversational Japanese, and got to speak the language to some rather surprised Japanese-Americans when I got back home. Alas, that was a lifetime ago, and I have forgotten most of what I learned, since I have no one to speak the language with. But watching your clips just now, I recognize that the Oracle (you call it a Forfeit Machine) that the three "villains" seem to be getting their marching orders from, tells them about the "spanking machine" and the young blonde echoes the Oracle with the words "Spanking Machine!!??" but not in Japanese. She says those words in English! Sorry if you already knew that. I'm aware that many English words have found their way into languages of other countries, just as we get some of our words from other countries as well.

I love your projected "new normal" of one super spanking plus one or two other items each week. You are really a "super researcher," and a treasure for our society. I recognize that guys like you don't come along every day, so stay healthy, will you?

Not only are you Great at finding spanking in comic books comic strips both past and present but you are Great at finding catoons that feature spanking Zenderman! what a wierd but sexy Cartoon from Japan I have seen part of this cartoon on the YouTube awhile back but never the whole thing!Didn`t know The woman name Muujo who is really stunning and well curve always ending up being punish or humiliate Beside the groping she endured I really enjoying seeing her caned on the Treadmill OHH how her big bottom bounce! Think it would have been better for the cane to strike her across the bottom instead of from the top Anyway Exciting scene but the best is the Spanking Machine and how she is laying over it as the guy churns the wheel spanking her tush hard! It's interesting that there's so much spanking in Japanese cartoons, Butch - obviously spanking is still very much accepted there. The only problems from our point of view are that (1) Not all Japanese cartoons may be available here, and (2) the spanking scenes often involve juveniles and/or are F/M.

We begin our "new normal" this week - one Super-Spanking, one item from Comics, Humor, or the Picture Gallery, and a "bonus" item when I can manage it - which we'll continue through the end of the year and probably into January except for a special Halloween edition. Only two updates this week, but I do hope to make it three most of the time.

On the Home Page under "Personal Messages" I mention that I'm having more trouble recording old TV shows on cable (to look for spankings in them, natch) because they've started to copy-protect the content. Part of the problem is that I save money by having my own DVR instead of one provided by the cable company (I only get a few channels anyway, but they include two that run old TV series). If I know a spanking scene is upcoming, I can still record it through a method I won't go into here, but I have to perform a manual operation and can't just set my timer any more. However, there's not really a whole lot left that I'm actively searching for - the Robert Horton/Susan Oliver spanking scene in Wagon Train is about it - so maybe it's not that big a problem. I do have about five scenes from TV already captured and edited that we'll be seeing in the weeks to come.

• The new weekly Super-Spankings series takes up where Super-Spanking Summer III left off three weeks ago, with more of Wonder Woman: Wonder Woman spanked by her mother, Queen Hippolyta.
• It's been a while since we did any non-Humorama material in the Humor Gallery, so let's start a new series there of three cartoons from a Czech humor magazine that were sent to us by Tiptopper a while back. The artist's name is Neprakta, so we'll name the series after him and begin with Neprakta #1.

Next Week: We're not done with spanking Wonder Woman yet by any means, and next week she gets it from an unknown girl. We'll also have Neprakta #2 and anything else I have time for. See you then!

it appears that WW's mom doesn't take any crap from her daughters . it's totally obvious that disgraceful behavior will be met with a sound spanking . this is well drawn, i like the short story line and i like the position of WW..............even if there is no OTK position here............we have a great view of her well spanked bottom and her head is raised as she howls from her humiliating, public spanking . it's too bad we don't know who the artist is. i have no idea, of course, about the caption of the Czech cartoon. even though it's a cartoony style, i think it has a certain appeal. the spankee is certainly getting her bottom blistered with that switch and the expression on the face of the spanker indicates that he's not one bit happy with what she's done . what i'm trying to say is that that Neprakta manages to give us much of the story here just in the drawing............regardless of the style. i always liked the art of Ann Madison. it's cartoony also but in her words and drawings she managed to convey "real" situations and emotions. i think Neprakta does this nicely also and i'll be looking forward to more. there may only be 2 updates this week but they're good ones and i'll be looking forward to more of these "new normal" updates . thanks, phil

As always, you've come through yet again, with some lively spanking pics most of us would probably not have seen anywhere else.

Naturally, I prefer the Wonder Woman spanking to the "birch" cartoon from the Czech Republic. Saying nothing against the Czechs (I'm married to one), but when we have a chance to see WW getting her marvelous behind smacked, obviously that would be the choice of any spanko! Mine anyway.

Beyond our usual hunger for scenes of a pretty woman getting her butt beat, any picture that shows Wonder Woman, of all people, being spanked on her nubile bottom is a little like winning the lottery... that is, it pushes ALL our buttons to think that this gorgeous creature could suffer the same fate as a naughty little girl winding up across her mother's knee. Diana is simply so flawless, in addition to being "merely" beautiful, that her OTK session sparks an even higher sense of euphoria -- of transcendent happiness -- than a good picture of an ordinary girl in the same position.

Of course, as we all know here at the good ol' CSR, an F/F spanking doesn't have the same cachet as an M/F picture would. Thus, we can enjoy seeing these pictures of Diana being spanked by her mother while knowing in our hearts that it would be even better if the spanker were male. We are probably never going to see a picture like that, on any mainstream platform. No movie, no TV show, no comic strip would dare touch such a polarizing subject. But of course, many "undercover" artists do like that scenario, so we will probably continue to enjoy seeing such pics in these private presentations. You have an excellent toon of Superman preparing to give WW an OTK spanking, and there is one that I drew, showing Diana getting spanked OTK by The Phantom.

A little while ago, you and I had a discussion about the origins of WW's costume, in particular her bottomwear. (Is that a word?) You dug deep into your cavernous morgue and produced some early prints of the original comic and proved conclusively that her first costume was a short skirt rather than shorts. But I believe (sorry I can't find my copy just now) that star-spangled shorts were introduced at about the same time as the skirt... probably meant to give the lady some variety in her clothing.

As the years went by, the star-spangled shorts got smaller and smaller, until the latest version looked more like a bikini bottom than anything else. I'm not complaining. Anyway, the unnamed artist who drew your new mother-daughter spanking does use that "bikini bottom" style in your post of this week. I like it and find that it almost compensates for the fact that the pic is F/F with not a man in sight. (Hey, I said "almost!")

This have to be the all time best Wonder Woman spanking drawing ever!! for two reason one of her being drag by the hair while complaining about being too old for a spanking and two being spanked in front of all her Amazon sisters if only it was on the bare bottom The artist of this GREAT comic book style drawing left out what could have been the ultimate humiliation of Wonder Woman have her standing up there with her burning red bottom on display as her sisters stare and laugh There wasn`t much otk except when Queen Hippolyta placed her struggling daughter across one knee while spanking her the rest is done standing up! i might be wrong, but i'm pretty sure you WW pic is by an artist called "nichx" who does the art for fightfantasies.
have to say, mostly his art is pretty rubbish for my tastes, as (eg, my fave Purgatori) he hardly bothers drawing her correctly in a lot of pics - no wings, or normal eyes instead of white, etc. Of course, this might be an attempt to avoid legal issues, though more likely just a posing issue (wings) or laziness (eyes). although all the ff art is styled like a comic page, i read on another board that basically the pic is all you get ~ it's not a part of a miniseries or whatever, which was pretty disappointing to the poster and made me not bother following up any investigation (well....that and a mail the owner sent me, lol, which kinda confirmed who that place runs).

there are a few ff pics featuring spanking and the group briefly advertised another catfight site (i think catfightartwork.com was the name) but it then vanished before the "coming soon" actually came :-/

Wolfie - thanks for the information. I went out to fightfantasies, a site with which I was unfamiliar, and I do believe you're right - the art must have come from there. I found an Electra/Psylocke scene, but the caning is too brutal for my taste - Electra actually draws a little blood with the cane, ruining any eroticism the scene might otherwise have had. And I agree with your assessment of the art. I also don't think it's an attempt to avoid legal issues since they frankly acknowledge in their disclaimer that they have no right to the characters, and most remarkably, they even disclaim owning the art!

Catfighting has little appeal for me, although it's always been around. Back in the 80's there was always some guy advertising "Cat fighting women" in The Comics Buyers Guide, and I never wanted to buy the stuff, even when he promised that "the loser gets a tanning with a tree branch!" That's the only good thing I can say about catfighting stuff - there does seem to be a "loser gets spanked" tradition that is sometimes followed, as was the case with the Electra/Psylocke scene I mentioned.

In preparing the current series on the Czech artist Neprakta, I've been handicapped by not being able to read his cartoons' captions. Fortunately, help is on the way: a CSR reader in the Czech Republic has sent us a lot of information and we hope is going to do some translations. I'll have to revise the first three entries in the series (#3 for next week has already been coded). This reader, Michal, may also have some more of Neprakta's cartoons, and JS666 may also be able to contribute some of the work of this prolific artist.

I put up the Halloween decorations on the Home Page today, and also my monthly plea for CSR readers who like the main site to join this board. Did you know we have over 1300 attached images here now? They are mostly the result of Phil's and B00m's efforts, since Dan and I generally link images instead (I can't count the linked images, by the way, except for my own because I link them right back to CSR - there are 89 of those). Speaking of our Resident Artists, I mentioned that they've all been posting recently, so everyone is again encouraged to see what they've been doing. In How Do People Find CSR? I posted some numbers from September that show we do get visitors who are seeking the work of our RA's. I also posted some of the other search strings, which are interesting and sometimes a little strange, and regular CSR readers might be curious about them.

Speaking of Halloween, I've decided to do a Halloween issue, but not until 10/31 (the update will, as usual, bear Friday's date), so we'll have a temporary interruption of our current two series while I post whatever goodies I've got in my Halloween bag.

in the "girl spanks WW" drawing, i really like the surprised look on Supergirl's face kind of makes me wonder if she was worried about being next. after all, if this spanker could subdue WW then perhaps she could subdue her too . i too have no idea who the spanker is but she has a really confident expression...............especially for a naked girl . the whole scene looks a bit peculiar to me but folks wanting a commission done are usually very specific about what they want to see so i would say that probably accounts for it. interesting drawing for sure. i enjoyed your analysis of this week's Nepratka cartoon and your comparison to Humorama. your observations about the scene seem right to me although the mother looks a bit concerned so maybe the dad is explaining that she's gonna be next.................or perhaps that's just wishful thinking on my part . i am going to be looking forward to the translations of the captions on these. the animation by Viklay is a nice scene and the face on the paddle is pretty funny . i too have never seen red bottom cheeks showing through slacks. of course, i ideally, i would be pulling those slacks down before beginning . i'll be interested in seeing some of the more typical work by this artist. i'll also be looking forward to your Halloween issue . thanks, phil

Hiya Web-ed... That's exciting news, about how you have lined up a translator for those Czech cartoons. I think you're right about the caption here, in the toon where the dad has just switched his daughter. It has something to do with her "bad habits."

I don't speak Czech, but Google does a pretty decent job of translating. What I get from this one is:

"Here you see yourself from old habits. For two years, I know from her nothing, but cut it out of inertia."

Like they say, it loses something in the translation.

Regarding the cartoon where some girl, maybe Naha, is spanking Wonder Woman: As a work of art, this one is seriously compromised. The artist forgoes any sense of perspective, rendering the whole picture as if it is taking place in outer space, but without a space ship. It's just bloops and bleeps, taking us nowhere. As if that were not bad enough, here we get the sense that the artist's main interest is not spankings, but naked women's bodies. As we can see, the spanker is nude and the spankee, Wonder Woman, has breasts that are popping out from her bustier.

But as always, Web-ed, we are all in your debt for runnning down every spanking toon on the planet... even from foreign countries.

• Neprakta Series continues with the third of six cartoons sent to us by Tiptopper, Neprakta #3. We've just gotten some help with Michal in the Czech Republic in translating the captions (I've fixed Neprakta #1 and #2 now), and he'll tell us more about this famous Czech artist next time.
• Video Extra: From television in 1973 (when we were still watching it) comes The Banacek Butt-Slap in which a college student pays the price - sort of, since one swat isn't much of a price - for getting in a crane operator's way. A couple of days ago we realized we made a typo in the opening credits and gave the original air date as "1963" instead of "1973" - we're still going to correct that before putting this one out on YouTube, so if you're a purist you might want to wait a while to download the video because we're going to correct the version on our page also. Of course, if you only care about the spanking, you don't have to worry about it.
  
  Next Week: It's Halloween, and because I do get the updates done on Thursday (with Friday's date) we'll have our Halloween special! i agree with you that the OTK position in the WW spanking by Archangemon does look a bit awkward at first glance but i am wondering if it might not have been done on purpose. what i like best about this drawing is that it seems to me to show that WW is struggling as hard as she can considering that she is all tangled up in her lasso. since WW is all bound up, i think she would have a hard time doing any kicking so this kind of pose would have been the only way to show the action of her struggles. either way, i'd say that WW is in big trouble here . i'm happy to see that you were able to get better translations for the first 2 drawings by neprakta and i think i understand the drawings a bit better now. in the #3 drawing you posted today, if i understand correctly, this might be the last caning from her dad before her wedding. i have to wonder if mom might not have chosen a different time to explain this though..............the spankee seems to be yelling and might not be hearing everything she's saying right now . the spanking is a bit too severe for my tastes too but since the cane has been used in all 3 that we have seen so far, i have to wonder if caning isn't the approved and EXPECTED method of dealing with naughty girls in the Czech Republic.............whether they are a wife or a child of yours. perhaps if this is the way most girls are dealt with, it might be more humorous?? i was a big fan of Mystery Movie and while i agree that Columbo is probably the favorite, i remember and liked all of them . nice looking spankee here and i agree with you that it's too bad we didn't get to see that crane operator turn her over and spank her bare bottom good. still, it was a good scene and i'll take it . i liked her "promises, promises, response and i'm gonna make it my business to believe that he caught up to her later and kept those promises . good updates. thanks for taking the time to get us not only the drawings and the clip but also for getting all the information and analysis that goes with them. phil

Hiya, Web-ed... Perusing your latest updates here, I see you are going with really rare, previously unseen pictues. That is very much to your credit, though of course sometimes we find "lost" spanking pictures that have EVERY REASON to be "lost!" (and stay that way.)

I'm glad you have your new Czech translations. But I am a tad confused by the pic plus caption in the Neprakta toon you posted today. You say that the erotic content of this toon is "virtually nil." Right you are, for the spankee's legs are rendered like a pair of toothpicks and the overall "look" of the picture is anything but erotic. Also, I'm confused that in the picture itself, the spankee is the only one of the three whose mouth is open, as if she is the one who is speaking the words we see in the caption:

"And remember: don't rely on parents. You can live with us, but it it will be your husband's duty to spank you."

That doesn't look quite right. These words should be spoken to the spankee by one of her parents, but in the picture both Mom and Dad have their mouths closed.

You have ventured into the cinema field, to bring us a clip from the vintage show, "Banacek." Okay, this is cute... especially so, since according to my research, there were ZERO spankings in American movies and TV during the late, unlamented seventies. That era, spearheaded by women's lib, almost completely closed down the sort of fun spankings we got to see in the previous decade and especially its torrid predecessor, the 1950s. Wow. When I think of all the wonderful TV spankings in the fifties... "My Little Margie," "Wagon Train," "The People's Choice," "Captain Lightfoot," oh there were so many.

Which, I suppose, makes your clip from "Banacek" a real find. Let's hope you continue to find rare clips like this, for in my humble opinion, America is being starved for fun spankings these days. If not for the geniuses who steered "Weeds" in recent years, we would have nothing to suggest the glory of filmed spankings of the past.

Oops! In a message like this, I mustn't forget the number one TV spanking of the 21st century: "Bored to Death" in 2010. But that was three years ago. Why haven't we seen more like this?

In all, Web-ed, good choices in your new updates. You know I'm not into F/F, which is why I haven't mentioned the first picture in your new offerings. But know that I appreciate all your research and the warm and friendly way you have of presenting your findings.

Nominally, this is the 11/01 update, but I got it up early on 10/31, so Happy Halloween everyone ! Readers of this forum will remember that CSR Resident Artist Dan Rivera posted a Halloween cartoon in his gallery last year, but I wanted to put it on the main site in the Humor Gallery as well, which I now have done. A couple of days ago, we discovered that some of his fellow R.A. B00m's O.T. Katie strips were missing, and having replaced them I was reminded that B00m also did a Katie Halloween Special. Just follow the link to be taken to the correct Forum page.

I also upgraded this Forum to the newest version of phpbb this week. It should be absolutely transparent to you, the members, but let me know if you encounter any weird problems. Supposedly some bugs were fixed, but I don't know what they were.
