The Batman Family Series continues with its most important member - Batman - spanking Poison Ivy!
Power Girl Series: the second of two drawings by Mr. Jer in which the powerful Power Girl is spanked by Superman. And this time she's completely tamed when the Man of Might turns her bare bottom red!
Wonder Girl has been sadly neglected as a spankee, so we try to partly remedy that now with a new series. We begin very simply with Wonder Girl Bends Over, in which we don't get to see the spanker, but we do see WG's red bottom!

Last week, I had written some really insightful comments... but some kind of computer glitch kicked me off of the internet and everything I had typed up to that point was lost! @#$%!

Humorama Series #148: We see another example of the Psychiatrist Spanks Patient gag. This time, though, it's on the bare bottom. This is another CSR first that has never appeared on the web before, and by the way, it's also the 200th Humorama spanking cartoon we have presented.

Regarding the lack of panties in that picture, I think i see traces of whiteout brushed onto the area where the lacy edges would've been, and in addition to that... The lady's buttcrack is missing!

X-Men Series Concludes: the White Queen returns to being the spankee as Storm spanks Emma Frost - a well-deserved bare-bottom blistering!
The Batman Family Series continues with a very unusual pairing that could not have occurred in the comics: Batwoman Spanks Harley Quinn! More spanking humor from Joe Gravel.

Eh! I'm just not that into F/F drawings... but i have to admit they were well-drawn.

Power Girl Series: we resume the series with the powerful Power Girl spanked by Superman himself. First of two by Mr. Jer - next week we'll see Supes give it to her again!

Mr. Jer has done the same thing that Bill Ward used to do. Now, I really do like large-breasted women... but not quite so extreme! However, she does have a nicely-rounded backside, and a very red one at that!

And now for this week (if I don't get bumped off again!)

Humorama Series #149: Another late-period cartoon from Bill Wenzel, Party Kook Spanking, which we believe dates from the 70's. This is the third of the four Wenzel cartoons we found in a 1980 Humorama magazine (as we said, we think it was first printed earlier), and like the others it has never appeared on the web before.

Another Bill Wenzel cartoon that I've never seen anywhere else! WOW!
And, in spite of the vague (and lame!) caption, it's a really nice picture!

This is my first post on the board, so let me first say that I really enjoy the vintage cartoons. They are a nostalgic reminder of the "good ol' days" when "men were men and women were glad of it" (even if those days were not exactly as we imagine them). And I appreciate your efforts to avoid porn and stick to your focus.

I agree with the comments about this week's Wenzel cartoon originally including panties. I'd also add that I think the same was true with last week's marriage counselor cartoon. I was immediately suspicious when I noticed that not only were their no lowered panties, but that she appears to be wearing modern style "stay-up" thigh-highs, rather than old-fashioned stockings and garters (note that the top edge of the stockings are much too high). It appears to me that the cartoon originally had the woman in pantyhose and that they were removed by a later edit. While I am not a fan of pantyhose, I think the image would have been better if it had been left alone, or had been altered in a way that produced a better quality result (either pantyhose scrunched up below the bottom, or stockings and garters added, panties down, etc.).

In any case, I join with others who commented that it's good to see previously unknown cartoons. Thanks for the good work.

congratulations on another CSR first with the Wenzel party kook spanking. i couldn't help noticing that everyone in the background of this drawing appears to be naked . only the spanker and spankee have clothes on so perhaps that's what's being referenced in the caption?? perhaps the spankee is calling him a kook because she still has on her bra and panties while he is fully clothed?? either way, it's still a pretty caption as you mention. it is a good drawing though. i like the shapely rear and pretty face of the spankee......nice hiphugger panties too . our boy Batman looks as if he is doing a fine job of wailing some naughty female tail there . another indication of this is that Poison Ivy looks very unhappy about the whole thing . i agree with you that Superman is looking mighty pleased with the results he's getting while blistering Power Girl's bottom . she, on the other hand does INDEED look very submissive and it strikes me that Mr. Jer has managed to make it appear as if she is not only submitting but also might be enjoying being taken in hand by the man of steel . Nice bottom drawn here by Mr. jer..........no wonder Superman has no problem spanking her . personally, i have no problem with some "exposure" in spanking pics....having done some myself....and while i realize that we have already discussed the matter of exposure, i do have a comment here. in my view the exposure here is very tastefully done and i just don't find anything offensive about it. i can't always make that comment but i have no problem with this one at all. i would certainly accept the Wonder Girl drawing as a spanking drawing even though the spanking is over..........she's obviously been given a spanking . it's a good drawing but i too noticed that flat spot on her bottom. too bad too...........it would have looked much better if that had been rounder but i guess i won't complain about it . good updates again. thanks, phil

Let me be the second (after B00m) to welcome you to the board, Bob . Glad you like the Humorama cartoons. I'm going to assume you've been following the series for some time (if not, you'll want to go to the Humor Gallery where all 201 cartoons (so far) have been indexed). And even though we're near the end of the line now, you'll be glad to know that I have another series of vintage cartoons (non-Humorama) planned for the future, as well as an article on the history and development of the spanking cartoon. I only have about 10 non-Humorama spanking cartoons from the 50's and 60's, but I'm sure everyone will love them.

B00m, about your lost post: anytime you invest a lot of time writing a post here, or anywhere else for that matter, I recommend you right-click on the text, select it, and copy it to the clipboard before attempting to post it. Then if something goes wrong and you can't reconnect to the site, you can paste the text into a Notepad or Wordpad document and save it for later.

Actually, I'm relieved the problem isn't with CSR's server (I hope), but internet connectivity problems can always crop up when posting to this board. I'll just recommend again as I did to b00m that if you've written a long, thoughtful post, it makes sense to copy it to your clipboard before trying to post, so if there's a problem you can save your post to Notepad and re-copy it over here later. this drawing of Wondergirl aka Cassandra Sandsmark is a nice wish it had been otk! And maybe I`m wrong but this have to be the first spanking drawing of Wondergirl!

I had a couple of Wonder Girl (Donna Troy) spankings posted in the past, but I removed them three years ago at the request of the artist. Wonder Girl has certainly been under-utilized as a spankee, especially (I feel) the Donna Troy version. I have three with Donna, one more with Cassandra, and two with Wonder Woman spanking a younger version of herself (the first Wonder Girl way back when).

I never read the Ian Fleming Bond books, but I understand that James did in fact give a spanking or two. As for Batman, he gave that memorable spanking to Marcia Monroe in Brave and the Bold #64, but didn't give any others (M/F, I mean) as far as I know, which is really a shame.

Thanks, Phil. I'm really glad to be able to come with some Humorama cartoons no one has ever seen before. Michael provided me with two more this week, one of which by Bill Ward seems vaguely familiar and the other of which came as a shock as it's an unknown Secretary Spanking by Homer Provence! One of the others, by Kirk Stiles, will certainly be familiar because Dan posted a version of it here last year (I have a new scan). That leaves one by Wenzel and one by Stiles, both of which I believe will be a pleasant surprise to everyone !

I think I may need to reconsider my comments on the marriage counselor cartoon. Looking at the party cook, I notice Wenzel has this girl in similar thigh highs, but this time with panties. So perhaps the wife in the counselor cartoon was not in pantyhose afterall. Panties may have been removed though.

WOW! This one is Wenzel at his best... Well, the guy looks a little dorky, but who's really paying any attention to him? The lady has the nicely-curved backside and big boobs that Wenzel draws so well. The O.T.K. position is... almost perfect... (She's pitched just a little bit too far forward, but in this case, I don't mind) I'm not quite sure about the stockings... they don't have the band around the top... but again, I'm willing to overlook that. She seems pleased with the spanking he's giving her! So am I! The two-handed "bongo-style" spanking isn't common, but Wenzel had done it before in his harem cartoon. ...And I recall an episode of I Love Lucy in which Lucy wore a harness and was suspended over the stage where Ricky was trying to sing. He didn't see her at first, but when he discovered that she had been turning his serious musical number into a farce, he ordered the man operating the apparatus to hold her in position so that he could spank her with both hands... while the orchestra played "Baba Lu". If the woman doesn't have to be held in place with the other hand... Why not use both hands to spank her?!? Heh heh!

I like Mr. Jer's drawing style... especially when he gives the ladies more realistic looking breasts. The ones on Supergirl in this picture are almost too big to be appealing... but not quite. The expressions on their faces say that he's angry about some infraction she's commited, and she's distressed... either by the pain of his super palm crashing across her backside... or by the embarrassment of having her panties pulled down... or maybe the combination of both! It's clearly a disciplinary spanking... (and anything else between cousins would be a little bit creepy!)

HI WEB-ED CSR!!!!! The SUPER SUMMER SPANKING DRAWINGS is in full force and like all Super Heros growing stronger every time! The Wondergirl paddling drawing look as though it came from a 50`s comic! and just like the old WW comic contain bondage really love the paddle Mary Marvel is holding with the Lighting Bolt on it Ouch1 now the only problem I have with this drawing is Wondergirl`s bottom should have been turn around so that we could see her nice plump bottom red from the paddling! I wish I knew who this artist was - as Phil says, he must have a great fantasy life, and I'd love to commission some more superheroine paddlings from him for CSR! It's true, as Butch points out, that we don't get to see Wonder Girl's red bottom here, which may be one reason I made sure we saw it last week Of course I agree with b00m that it would be better if we had more M/F - can you imagine how much fun we'd have had if Wonder Girl were bending over so we could see her bottom getting reddened by the paddles of two male heroes? Wow ! I've got five more Wonder Girl spankings, but all of them are F/F. The sad truth is that I've never seen anyone draw Wonder Girl getting spanked by a guy - Robin, as leader of the Teen Titans, would seem an obvious choice. That's what commissions are for, I guess, and if I ever have any money again...

And I'll mention again the strange fact that most of the superheroine spankings that have ever been drawn are F/F! If it were up to me, it would be something like maybe 80% - 20% in favor of M/F, but alas, it's not up to me

I continue to be unable to find any more Humorama digests at reasonable prices, but Michael sent me two cartoons which will be added to the series.

Two of the comic spankings were M/F: one was a reprint of the 9/27/1939 Oaky Doaks spanking I have posted in Comics Gallery 2, but I will add it to the page eventually since this version, though somewhat abbreviated, is in full color. The second is a new discovery in an adventure comic - the villainess bends over during a big fight scene and the hero whacks her with a rifle butt. No OTK positioning, unfortunately, but with solid butt-to-butt contact this one certainly counts, and it will be posted eventually .

What's disappointing is how many Romance Comics I searched without finding a single spanking - it was certainly over a thousand pages, yet the only M/F scene I found came from an obscure adventure comic instead.

Now for the rest, which are mostly a sorry lot. They have been added to the Data Base but will not be posted:

1. Durango Kid #29 (May-June 1954 Magazine Enterprises), F/F, lily budd / impostor, hand. Art by Fred Guardineer. This is one of the very few F/F spankings from the Golden Age, but it is basically a woman-spanks-girl disciplinary scene.
2. Hit Comics #48 (Sept. 1947 Quality), M/M, P.T. Brumpf/Jonesy, hand. Another one from the Jonesy strip, he goes to see the manager of a theatrical troupe to try to break in but gets spanked for his trouble.
3. Hit Comics #53 (July 1948 Quality), M/M, lodge members/Rasputin, paddle. Another initiation scene. Rasputin has taken Merwin’s place.
4. Famous Funnies #126 (Jan. 1945 Eastern Color), Invisible Scarlet 0’Neil, Scarlet/Beansie, F/M, hand. Long before Sue Storm of the Fantastic Four, comics had another invisible girl, namely the Invisible Scarlet 0’Neil. She would have made a good spankee, but she does the spanking here of a boy named Beansie. This is a well-drawn scene, which just makes me wish all the more that Scarlet were on the receiving end. Actually, Beansie's age is hard to determine - he's romancing some girl - so there's a slight chance this one might be posted in the future if I'm convinced he's of age, but I'm inclined not to.
5. Famous Funnies #84 (July 1941, Eastern Color) M/M, hand. – Jitters strip. Jitters the monkey starts to spank a misbehaving baby.
6. Famous Funnies #99 (Oct. 1942, Eastern Color) M/M, Father/Squeaky, Hand – “Life’s Like That” strip

One more search item, this time from television: Ever since Chross revealed the existence of a spanking from Route 66, I've been waiting for that episode to appear on Chicago TV because the only version he could find was of very low quality. Since they only run one episode per week, it's taken a long time, but I've finally got it, and in good quality! It's currently being edited and I hope to present it in the fall depending on what I do about Super-Spanking Summer III after 9/06.

Humorama Series #151: A big surprise: Michael recently sent me two Humorama cartoons, the first of which is a previously unseen one by Homer Provence, Secretary Spanking #40: a boss gives his female employees a pat on the back if their work is good but a whack somewhat lower if their performance is sub-par. Homer was very comfortable setting his cartoons in the office as we'll see once again here.

Super-Spanking Summer III:

• Batman Family Series: an Endart classic from the past as Batman spanks Catwoman in front of Robin and Batgirl. The characters are drawn to resemble the actors who played them back on the old TV series, so if you ever wanted to see Julie Newmar get spanked, this is as close as you're going to get!
• Supergirl Series: the second of two drawings by Mr. Jer in which Superman takes his younger cousin in hand. Trust me: this one's a keeper you'll want in your personal collection for sure!

Hi Web-ed: Your new Aug. 1 updates are very attractive! Most appealing to guys like me, of course, is the sketch of Superman spanking Supergirl... probably because this is a true OTK spanking and it appears that the spankee is in full orgasmic passion. I also like what you have described as "a rather unique coloring: a monochrome tint everywhere except for the red hue of Kara's blazing behind!" That is good, intense artistry by the author, someone who calls himself "Mr. Jer."

The positioning and the feeling of this drawing (Superman/Supergirl) is marred only by the fact that Mr. Jer neglected to give Superman a left leg. We see the folds of his long cape hanging from the bench he is seated on, but below that, Superman has no left thigh! But the overall artistry is so good, I suspect most viewers will not even notice that... or maybe they do notice it, but admire the artwork so much they will not complain.

My second favorite among your new posts is the Endart offering that shows Batman spanking Catwoman OTK with Batgirl and Robin as witnesses. That is a tasty treat for any spanking aficionado, and I commend you for thinking of your younger readers by adding photos of all four characters, from the 1960s' Batman TV show.

Your Homer Provence toon is also one of my faves in this week's updates. I always admire seeing a boss-secretary office scene, and I have a warm spot in my heart for Homer's toons, because it seems the spankees are always smiling, telling us that the spanking was consensual even if she didn't see it coming. The girl here is not smiling as broadly as some of Homer's heroines do, when being spanked. But the set of her jaw and her lips lets us know that she doesn't really mind getting a "pat" on her back... or even lower!

Your F/F toon, showing Wonder Woman spanking a girl who is clearly a WW wannabe -- they are both wearing the same costume -- is marvelous in that the two women's bodies are structured as sexily as possible, plus the spankee's butt is positioned perfectly over WW's knee.

Steve O. Reno... is that the artist's name? is obviously an expert in the art of depicting the human body and exaggerating it, a bit, so that we can enjoy the picture all the more. Both Wonder Woman and her doppelganger are positioned expertly, just as we like it, er, like them. I truly admire the deft brushwork Steve O. gives us, in the shadings he uses to give his drawing an illusion of depth. A 3-D drawing, in effect. It's a winner!

My one and only cavil about Steve O. Reno's drawing is that it is F/F. I know, I know, it has been proved beyond doubt that women love to spank other women, and thus we are destined to run across pictures like this for the rest of our natural lives. My preference is for M/F and that is the only configuraton I will download and keep. HOWEVER, we must give credit where credit is due. And Reno's pic of WW spanking her twin is so very, very good from a technical POV, it is nonsense not to save it in our files. I just hope Steve O. has some M/F pics in store for us, in the same quality as this one.

i can certainly understand why you would find some of those results of your spanking search disappointing but i will say that we really appreciate the fact that you're willing to wade through all the disappointing and negative results to bring us all the great ones that you've found . also, thanks to you and Michael for another CSR first in the Homer Provence drawing . i too like this drawing. we have a nicely shaped spankee and i like the way he had drawn her dress riding up in the back so we get a peek at the top of her hose and some of her garters . as you pointed out, the spanker looks happy and the spankee certainly isn't minding getting a swat from the boss . i'm familiar with the Batman/Catwoman spanking by Endart and i think i have it in my collection already. you have pretty much taken the words right out of my mouth with all the comments you made. i too like the OTK position and especially how Batman is restraining her by holding her around the waist . i agree with your assessment of of the expressions on their faces 100% and i have to think the fact that we both agree says something about Endart's ability to depict these emotions in his drawings.............in addition to his ability to portray known characters that are recognizable . you mentioned that it looks like Robin's eyes are bugging out and i have a feeling that isn't the only thing of his in that condition . good job by Mr. Jer again. Supergirl is wonderfully drawn.........not only the proportions of her shapely body but also by the way he has captured her kicking and struggling . he seems most expert at capturing this kind of action and i have to admit that i greatly admire this ablilty . nice OTK position and i like the way her panties are a bit twisted up as she struggles . nice coloring on her shiny hiney too . i don't even pretend to understand the whole Wonder Woman/ Wonder Girl business but this is an interesting drawing. the girls are shapely and nicely drawn and i do like the OTK position with her bottom up high . more good updates this week. thanks, phil

Humorama Series #151: A big surprise: Michael recently sent me two Humorama cartoons, the first of which is a previously unseen one by Homer Provence, Secretary Spanking #40: a boss gives his female employees a pat on the back if their work is good but a whack somewhat lower if their performance is sub-par. Homer was very comfortable setting his cartoons in the office as we'll see once again here.

Oh yes! A very nice one from Homer! The shapely, smiling woman, the somewhat goofy-looking boss, and an acceptable gag. I loved it!

Batman Family Series: an Endart classic from the past as Batman spanks Catwoman in front of Robin and Batgirl. The characters are drawn to resemble the actors who played them back on the old TV series, so if you ever wanted to see Julie Newmar get spanked, this is as close as you're going to get!

I've seen this one before, but it's good to see it again! Endart did a great job of drawing Julie Newmar's face on his version of Catwoman... and to me, Ms. Newmar was by far the best (and most spankworthy) Catwoman ever! There's one thing strange about Robin's pose, though... It almost looks like he's rubbing his own behind! ...And that smirk on Batgirl's face... could it be that there was a previous drawing that depicted Batgirl spanking Robin? Sometimes, Endart did do an occasional F/M picture... Of course, if there is a drawing like that, I wouldn't care to see it. I guess Robin would be an ideal choice for the people who do like to see men and boys on the receiving end... but enough of that...

Supergirl Series: the second of two drawings by Mr. Jer in which Superman takes his younger cousin in hand. Trust me: this one's a keeper you'll want in your personal collection for sure!

WOW! I think this is the best I've ever seen from Mr. Jer! You can clearly see the motion in this one-panel drawing! Supergirl is struggling wildly as Superman holds her firmly across his... partial lap... (Alright... there is that error that Dan pointed out. Where is Supe's left knee? Maybe Mr. Jer was putting so much concentration into getting the spankee's movement and espression just right that he simply overlooked a vital part of the spanker's anatomy... We've all made that mistake from time to time... havent we? Oh well!) The look on her face seems to say that she's about to forget that she's being punished for... something-or-other she did wrong, and that he's her cousin... (Wait a minute... are they first cousins or more distantly related? Hmmmm!)

On Secretary Spanking #40:

Everyone liked this one, which is unsurprising. Homer several times depicted consensual spanking in the workplace, and I remain convinced that where workplace spanking has actually occurred in the past it must have almost always been consensual. I came upon an article in an old issue of Mr. recently in which the author claimed to have spanked several of his female employees, and I found his story quite credible. (We'll be seeing it sometime in the future when I do my survey of spanking in non-Humorama men's magazines - unfortunately he provided no pictures).

Steve O. Reno does have a definite talent and has done a number of bondage pieces. He's very good at drawing erotically, which makes it a great pity he has never done any M/F spankings as far as I know. I have one other piece by him, but it's Wonder Woman spanking Supergirl (to be posted soon). As to the orientation, I really think more F/F than M/F superhero drawings are being done these days, and of course a something as nice as this one deserves to be preserved here at CSR. All I can say is that I'll continue to try and find more M/F material.

Endart probably drew more types of spanking situations than any other artist in history, including a few that were F/M (probably to satisfy the small but persistent demand for F/M material). To the best of my knowledge, he never drew Batgirl spanking Robin (Andy Price did two along those lines), but he did draw an after-spanking piece with Catwoman and Batman plus Robin. That one was surely done to satisfy someone's fantasy, and needless to say, we won't be seeing it around here! Fortunately, he left us this Batman/Catwoman scene in which he not only did a fine job capturing Julie Newmar's features, he also avoided any of the anatomical weaknesses which sometimes cropped up in his work. Not to be overly critical, since Endart did so much for us and deserves our gratitude, but human anatomy is difficult and he sometimes struggled with proportion.

Everyone loved this one, of course. To answer b00m's question, Superman and Supergirl are first cousins (or were, since DC smashed up all their continuity with Crisis on Infinite Earths). Supergirl's father Zor-El is the brother of Superman's father Jor-El. Superman was supposed to be 29 and Supergirl 15 at the time she arrived on Earth (in 1959), so the difference in their ages means they couldn't have known each other on Krypton before it blew up (Supes was saved as an infant). Because Krypton had blown up about a dozen years before Kara (Supergirl) was born and logically her parents should have been killed then, her origin story was wildly improbable, but fortunately is not important here. The main thing is that we've got more Supergirl spanking in store in the coming weeks !

On the ongoing spanking search: I appreciate all the encouraging words, guys, and I'm not going to give up no matter how many stupid M/M scenes and how much kid stuff I keep running across - somewhere, more good M/F spankings are out there, and I'm going to find them ! As a matter of fact, despite not finding any spankings in Romance comics recently, I do have four of them saved up for Romantic Spanking Month next February.
