"She Wrote the Book" (1946)

All these years, I have waited for a chance to see it again, but to no avail. The movie seems to have fallen completely through the cracks, and it is never revived.

yes, thanks to you and cinema swats I have been able to see the spanking scene, It was at Chross's site for a while. Like you I did think the spanking was wonderful. I remember Kirby Grant as Sky King threatening his niece Penny with a spanking on one of the shows and wished that he had. Joan's spankings were hard to find as well as I found her shows, but many of the spankings did not seem to be there (although I did like the one where she did put herself over her father's knee (I do wish that he had taken the hint and spanked her as that would have made the show much better IMHO of course) The one where Jim Backus spanks her I have heard about, but I admit I have never seen.

I think Public Debt number 1 has a Great Spanking in it even thought George Murphy was using the wrong hand when spanking Brenda Joyce but the energy was there lot of legs kicking from Mrs. Joyce

Thanks for your generous offer. I must admit this one had fallen off my radar completely. After reading these latest posts on this thread I found that She Wrote The Book is now available on YouTube, but I have so far been unable to strip the file out of their player, which they make purposely difficult although I am often able to do it, as for example with the many public paddlings we've been seeing the last few months.

I would like very much to present the spanking scene on CSR, but I don't want you to have to pay the international postage to send the DVD to me (from which I can extract and re-format the video of the spanking scene). It might not cost any more for me to purchase it myself ($12.00 American is the cheapest I've found), or I might finally be able to get around YouTube's barriers although it now seems unlikely.

Yep, I finally got around those pesky barriers YouTube keeps erecting to keep civic-minded persons such as myself from stripping the video files out of their site. As far as I know, I've got the whole movie now but it will take time to edit down to whatever portion contains the spanking action. I suppose I really should try to get to it before Super-Spanking Summer soaks up all my time, but we'll see.
