The tremendous success of The Simpsons led Fox to launch an obvious knock-off called Family Guy in 1999. We never could work up enough interest in it to watch more than a few minutes at a time, and while we think one of the characters evinced some interest in spanking (we can't remember the details), as far as we know there haven't been too many Family Guy spanking cartoons by independent artists. But Bawdy Bard was never one to worry about going where no spanking scenarist has gone before, and he came up with a nice brother/sister spanking (such pairings have always intrigued us) that we see now as part of our ongoing series of BB's work. The idea is an inversion of the more usual girl-gets-in-trouble-and-has-to-accept-a-spanking: here it's Chris who gets himself into a situation in which he has to do what Meg tells him, and she tells him to give her a spanking! Few females would be so bold in real life, but this does allow BB to maintain the key element of consensuality in his spanking scenes. Kevin Karstens does a remarkable job with the art given the inherent restrictions when dealing with caricatures (as opposed to, say, the more realistic way that most Disney animated characters are drawn). |
