Velma Dinkley was supposed to be the brainy one among the Scooby-Doo gang (making it hard to define the role of Daphne Blake, but never mind that now). We may therefore suppose she could design a self-spanking machine if she wanted to, although we'd rather see Fred Jones do the necessary work. (And we will in this gallery at a later date). Apparently she did want to, and we see the results here. We've never been too crazy about self-spanking, there being a virtual epidemic of it on video ten or fifteen years ago, but this one is kind of cute even though it makes that common spanking-machine error of having the paddles striking the target with a downward motion instead of an upward one. Velma's exclamation, "Jinkies!" was her one-word catchphrase in the various Scooby series as our readers may remember.
We believe from the name attached to the file that the artist's name is "Billby," but his signature is illegible. Is he perhaps an Australian? We couldn't find out anything about him, whoever he is.
