With Hank Ketcham's classic comic strip Dennis the Menace you have to think (with regret) that the most likely spankee would be Dennis himself, but since we have no interest in seeing that, let's turn to probably the most desirable spankee - Dennis' mother Alice! We have two cartoons with Alice being spanked by her husband Henry and we'll see the first of them now.

This is a very nice non-disciplinary spanking with Alice fully consenting to some light bondage and bottom-warming. It features good OTK positioning and two very happy participants plus one rather confused small boy. Although in our records the name "David Farley" was attached to the image (one way we keep track of whom to credit), the gag and consensual, non-disciplinary spanking immediately suggested Bawdy Bard had conceived the thing, while the style of the art was that of someone who at the very least was trying to closely imitate Kevin Karstens. Only the lack of color and the conventional rectangular panel borders (as opponsed to Karstens' rather unique irregular polygonal panel borders) gave us pause: was it Karstens or an imitator?
A further search of our Karstens/Bard file provided the answer: this cartoon began life as a Karstens and Bard production and was later transformed
into the black & white version above. Here it is in its original form:

There were some other changes to the black & white version other than de-colorization: the shading on the buttocks was made with short straight line segments, Henry's expression is subtly different, and the electrical outlet is drawn in greater detail(!) - why we can't say.
