We've seen the art of Paula Meadows before on CSR (see e.g. Caned on Stage) as well as Paula herself getting caned by her editor, but it appears she did a comic strip as well. It was called "The Exploits of Mitzi" and it chronicles the adventures of a French maid who often steals from her employers, earning her numerous sessions of corporal punishment! It was an ongoing series that apparently was printed in some Janus publication, possibly Februs which Paula edited. We're not sure how the first example came to our attention, but at some point we found a collection of these strips at 8Muses. Only two selections will be presented here, but they are enough to admire the effort Paula made to produce them.
Paula seems to have liked the idea of French maids getting spanked, and we can't really blame her. We even remember Paula posing in a maid's outfit herself once, so it may have been a personal fantasy!
Alas, it has become necessary to punish Mitzi the French maid for certain indiscretions, and there's really no doubt as to what form that punishment should take! Comic by Paula Meadows; original source unknown.
