Professor Pincer Spanks Fiancee

---> Comics Gallery 2

Want to see a good-looking blonde get spanked by her fiancee? Well, you've come to the right place because that's what we have here in an excerpt from what we believe is the Mexican comic book Kung Fu #6 (September, 1974). We have no memory of this one but our notes credit it to our old friend Dave Wolfe, whom we believe also provided this information:

The blonde has been flirting with a Kung Fu hero and her fiancee doesn't like it.

Panel One: "And to the indifference of the Oriental, Professor Pincer punishes his finacee."

"Take that! This is the only way I'll feel better! Little traitor!" "Ay, Ay, Ay! Damned scoundrel! Let go!"

Panel Two: "When Professor Pincer finishes his pleasant task he drops the woman down.

Professor Pincer spanks his fiancee. Discovered by Dave Wolfe. Posted by El Web-Edo on 04/08/2022.

Would you believe we didn't realize we had Dave's translation until after we had done our own? rolling eyes Duplicate effort, but here it is:

CAPTION: And before the indifference of the oriental, the pincer professor punishes his fiancée.

PROFESSOR PINCER: Take [this]! Only then will I feel better. Traitress!

FIANCEE: Oh! Oh! Oh! Damn scoundrel! Let Go!

CAPTION: When the teacher finished with his pleasant task he let the woman fall to the ground.

And how! She fell right on her sore rear end - well done, Señor Profesor!

Looks like our spankee, red-headed instead of blonde, was featured on the cover of Kung-Fu #6 (September 21, 1974) (click to enlarge). A spanking-good bargain at only 2 pesos!

We have determined that this comic was published in Mexico by Editorial OEPISA, which we believe had been reprinting the Marvel titles Marvel Special Edition #15-16 and Master of Kung-Fu #17-19 as Kung Fu #1-5. But at this point (August 1974) they had reprinted all the extant issues of the Marvel titles. Master of Kung-Fu #20 came out with the same cover date as Kung-Fu #6 (Sept. 1974) but it would seem unlikely the pages could have gotten down to Mexico that fast, and the indexed contents of #20 don't sound anything like what we see here. (Master of Kung-Fu has been fully indexed but Kung-Fu has not.)

So there must have been some other source for Kung-Fu #6, but what could it have been? The character of Shang-Chi had been introduced in Marvel Special Edition #15, so there was nothing before that time for Editorial OEPISA to have taken. Was Kung-Fu #6 the beginning of new material for that series, which went on to #97? Or could it be that we're actually wrong about Master of Kung-Fu #20 - a nearly inconceivable circumstance? laughing face A comparison of cover scans of the two series beginning with #6 and #20 respectively shows they don't match, and the Mexican comic was being published twice monthly, so it seems they must have been getting new material from somewhere. Congratulations to the Mexican staff at Editorial OEPISA for having the good sense to add a spanking to an American martial arts comic series that almost certainly never featured one - it was a great start to the publishing of new material!big grin
