Try Not to Swear

---> Comics Gallery 2

Let's take a look at another modern strip now. This one has no name (we have provisionally named this episode "Try Not to Swear") and we don't have any idea where it first appeared - we simply found it floating around the internet. Fortunately, it is labeled as being the work of Christopher Chamberlain, a professional artist who works in a variety of media. He seems familiar with comics, and this particular strip (we don't know if it was a one-off or a continuing series) is done in a recognizably "modern" style. Of his works that we've seen, we think his painting is better than his drawing. No other spanking scenes are known, but then we've seen only a small fraction of his art. Visit his blog (link above) if you want to see more.

A man gives his woman a rather gentle paddling in this strip by Christopher Chamberlain. Original source unknown. © Christopher Chamberlain. Posted by the Web-Ed on 12/21/2018.

This is a pretty relaxed scene, with the choice of implement, a long paddle, not really suited to the OTk position. The spanker, although laid back, seems determined that his lady should feel the sting of the swats. We're not sure how to interpret his "You would be better off calling for Batman" in response to her exclamation of "Jesus!". Perhaps he's not a Christian, but we think it would be a mistake to search this strip for any deep religious significance one way or the other.
