Recently we posted two episodes of the British comic strip Cuddles and Dimples (Mumsie Spanked and Mumsie Paddled), and we're now going to see two very similar but somewhat older child monsters. We don't know if they were ever characters in an ongoing series, but the situation here is clear enough: they make an appropriate birthday gift in the form of wood paddles for their shop teacher, Ms. Hooters, and then give her swats with them!

Great fun, and natural material for Doctor Cylon. His coloring here is quite understated, which sets off the excitement of a bare-bottomed paddling, and his shading of Ms. Hooter's reddening bottom is a bit more realistic than the original hatching across the lowest portion of the target only.

Now let's see the original and Doc Cylon's colorized version side by side. The artist is Mike Kreffel, making his first appearance in CSR. We have just identified one other spanking cartoon as being his work (we'll see it at a later time) but don't really know much about him other than that he has done some album covers and created a comics heroine called "Tanya Tastee" who, in Perils of Pauline fashion, was always getting into trouble in the very strange form of someone wanting to eat (that is, consume) her. That's rather disturbing, but as far as we know she always escaped in the few episodes that were produced. He also had a website called "Kref Toonz" but it's gone now.

Kreffel has a nice conception here, pretty well executed except for the paddle being applied at an awkward angle. Better would have been to have one twin holding down the spankee's shoulders while the other applied the paddle with a nice, level swing, but we'll take it.
