We go now to Great Britain to examine Cuddles and Dimples, two toddlers who make the Katzenjammer Kids look like model citizens by comparison. Interestingly, it started as two separate strips, with Cuddles being drawn by Barry Appleby, whom we have seen in this gallery with The Gambols #1, #2, #3, and #4, and Dimples showing up three years later in 1984. With little or no explanation, Cuddles' parents were junked and both boys had the same parents from 1987 on (the strip ended in 2010). Let's see them in action now before we get to the actual spanking. All scans are from long-time CSR contributor Bishop Berkley.
The duo fairly causes a riot by falsely claiming that their pet mouse is on the loose. Nearly every kind of physical mishap results, crowding the panels with an amount of action that is vaguely reminiscent of the background activities Willie Elder would stuff into the early issues of MAD, although the gags are cruder.

Next let's meet the boys' "Mumsie," whose ample bosom makes her a ripe target for bosom-related humor as well as "behind in jeopardy" stuff and some actual spankings.

So Mumsie looks like she'd make a good spankee, but who would spank her? Her husband's boss, that's who, when the boys' mouse (again with this poor animal) scares Mumsie into dumping a pot of tea on him:
Daddy's boss turns Mumsie over his knee! She actually asks for "mercy" - a traditional BDSM safeword - so we think it's fair to say she's really feeling that spanking.
