As we mentioned before, the prolific Julius Zimmerman has not produced many drawings with actual spankings, but he does
sometimes position his subjects in a way that provides the enterprising spanking animator (like Doctor Cylon) with an
opportunity, not to mention an irresistible target. Two examples follow.
In the first, we have managed to find Zimmerman's original work, which he entitled "Nice Catch": A pretty
mermaid, now transformed into a human, finds herself caught in a fishing net. By pure happenstance(!),
she has wound up up in the classic "touch your toes" position. Scrolling down, we find Doc Cylon's versions:

The sea and sky have been added to the background, coloring added to the drawing, a ball gag completes the bondage ensemble,
and a paddle gets applied to that very tempting target. Deeply satisfying!
By the way, Doctor Cylon entitled the revised version "Whaling Wars," a clever play on the name of the controversial
Whale Wars series seen on the Animal Planet channel. One thing that should never be controversial is a good paddling,
and the one we see here is as good as it gets, courtesy of these two artists.

[11/05/2010 Update] Here is a later version with deep red coloring.

12/02/2016 Update: Here are five more versions. First, the effects of the paddle, from 2011.

Next: this one may have been the precursor of the "Owwww!" below. Its date of completion is unknown. (Added 2023).

Next: this one seems to differ from the preceding version only by having the "doughnut" colored pink rather than
orange! This time, the completion date is known to be 2010. (Added 2023).
|
|
Next: Owwww! Perhaps this was intended to show the longer-term after-effects of the paddle, which
typically leaves two lovely symmetric areas of glowing red on the target region.
|
|
Next, an animated hand is applied where it will do the most good.

Next, from 2014 we see the blushing after effects of the spanking hand. Looks like Ariel will be feeling them
for some time!

Next we have what appears to be the basis for the animation just above.

Next: date unknown but definitely later than 2010, this one has the "psychedelic look" Doc only used rarely. (Added 2023).

And finally, another recoloring, this one seven years after the first one appeared!
Doctor Cylon was apparently quite captivated by this particular drawing.
