Although we haven't seen much lately from artist and CSR Bulletin Board member El Manto Negro, we have featured a lot of his fine work in the past. He apparently did this one back in 2006, and we'd guess Doctor Cylon latched onto it soon after although he didn't send it to us until fairly recently. EMN decided to have Betty Rubble spank a rather unwilling Wilma Flintstone, which is something of a novelty as we cannot recall seeing a similar situation (i.e. a disciplinary spanking between Betty and Wilma) depicted by another artist.

EMN also decided to draw the characters closer to their unrealistically-skinny animated models than some of the other artists we've seen, which is an interesting choice, but to us it's the characters themselves who remain problematic choices for a spanking drawing. On the plus side, he uses his usual vibrant colors to bring the drawing to life, and really left nothing for Doctor Cylon to do in the coloring department other than modify the red areas on Wilma's behind. However, the Good Doctor is also capable of writing a caption explaining the spanking action in a cartoon, and he did so here, expanding upon Wilma's unwillingness, which we may be overstating. Perhaps Wilma agreed she deserved a spanking but is getting more than she bargained for from Betty. Our opinion is that both women richly deserved the paddlings they received from the Water Buffaloes.
