We believe it was the unknown artist here who put the exclamation marks in the drawing of Princess Peach.
What he intended it to signify we do not know, but what it obviously suggested to Doctor Cylon was
her reaction to the sharp sting of a swat to her behind. And indeed exclamation marks were sometimes used
in comics as a shorthand for a character's surprise or astonishment (see
Diana Dane Spanking #2
for another spanking example (also #3)). Apparently a hand or hairbrush was used since only the left side of
Peach's bottom has been reddened, so some more swats are definitely needed to even out the color.
