This one is a collage of Julius Zimmerman's Sketchbook #276 that we saw last time (left side) and his "Top Drawer" (right side) in which Tinker Bell is once again stuck in the keyhole of Wendy's sewing drawer. "Sketchbook #276" is much the better of the two with better positioning, while "Top Drawer" takes "exposure" as we have called it to an objectionable degree. That was one of Zimmerman's serious flaws along with explicit sexual activity, and we have refused to print some of his work in CSR for those reasons, but in this case we'll ignore our personal discomfort and allow our readers to decide for themselves. We note that Doctor Cylon may have felt this way also, for he never produced a stand-along version of "Top Drawer" but only combined it with "Sketchbook #276" to make a very short comic strip. By the way, the Good Doctor credits Endart with the idea for this, but we have never seen any such work from the latter and so cannot reproduce it here. |
