We would describe Budd Root as a modern-day practitioner of Good Girl Art, following in the tradition of such men as Matt Baker (whom we've seen in CSR). In fact we've seen Root before - his cave girl Meriem appeared way back in Doc Cylon #30 - and we'll be seeing them again in the future. We're not sure what the original story was here, but perhaps Mary Jane was flashing Spider-Man. If so, she certainly deserved a spanking from him, but the Good Doctor beat him to the punch and saw to it that the color of her bottom matched that of her hair.

As a Good Girl Artist should, Root gives Mary Jane a shapely bosom and behind, the latter being bare which suits Doctor Cylon just fine. There's more to Good Girl Art than that, but we'll leave that question for another day and another essay and just enjoy it for now.

Why Root included a rather silly depiction of poor old Aunt May (at least that's who we think she is) we don't know, but Doc excised her from the altered version which cuts to the chase and just let's us concentrate on MJ's spanked bottom.
